JEDIAH short back-up of five days and steps down to company at a non-metro level, capable of getting into the money with a bit of luck.
Race 2 Ipswich
VICTORY MELODY resumes after a spell of 27 weeks and has trialled since last race 191 days ago, hard to go past. FUNKY ZEBRA resumes after a spell of 24 weeks and placed at trial since last race 169 days ago, a real threat. PENSIERO faded to finish four lengths off the winner last start at Sunshine Coast, can figure. SUMMIT came on to finish midfield last start at Seymour and from a strong camp, the real danger in the race.
Race 3 Ipswich
DIAMANTINA ROSE last start winner to break maiden at Gatton when fresh and yet to miss the placegetters, key chance. KENTUCKY ROSE came on strong when just beaten last start at Warwick when first up and racing back at non-metro class, don't treat lightly. BEFORE ANYONE ELSE comes back to race in non-metro and has won at Ipswich before, in with a chance.

SPIRIT OF NURAI kept chasing and just missed last start at Ipswich, genuine contender. BOLD ARTIC just missed when heavily backed last start at Rockhampton on a soft track and should run fitter for past attempts, right in this. INTRUDER finished in the middle of the pack last start at Gatton and placed once this prep at Toowoomba, cannot be ruled out. THE BOSS MAN coming off a win to break maiden at Rockhampton when first up and comes back to race in non-metro, not without each-way claims.

CEEKAY'S CHOICE led throughout for a dominant win last start to break maiden at Gatton, a real threat. SPIKED looking for a hat trick after winning two in a row at Warwick and Dalby, still in this.

HEROIC MISS looks down to non-metro grade and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier, in with a chance.

PARTY SPIRIT finished three quarters of a length back from the leader last start at Ipswich when resuming and doesn't take many to get going winning one when fresh, if in the finish no surprise. SHALAILED should find the lead easily having drawn well, looks threatening. SURFERS ROYALE has the speed to overcome a very wide draw and comes back to race in non-metro, each-way claims.
