THE QUEENSLAND RACING CARNIVAL IS WHERE CHAMPIONS EMERGE

Last year, Stefi Magnetica and Broadsiding announced themselves as future superstars, while the mighty mare Bella Nipotina dominated the winter on her way to claiming The Everest. 

The $6.5 million Stradbroke Day will again take centre stage as the Carnival’s crowning jewel, headlined by the state’s equal richest race – the $3 million Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap.

The 2024 edition is one that won’t soon be forgotten, as Stefi Magnetica delivered our local young gun Zac Lloyd his maiden Group 1 victory in the saddle with one of the great top-level rides seen in recent years. 

The Raceday will also feature the $1 million Group 1 JJ Atkins, most recently taken out by another rising superstar in Broadsiding, alongside the $1.2 million Group 2 Q22.
