The Winter Carnival hits top gear this week with the second edition of the Group 1 $350,000 Rising Sun, Australasia’s richest race for three and four-year-old pacers.

Harness racing’s most promising stars from both sides of the Tasman will look to etch their name into history in the ‘Grand Circuit Stars of the Future’ preview.

Elsewhere, all-new Group 1 trotting feature The Great Square will also see $150,000 go to the winner along with a $25,000 bonus if the winner if a three-year old.
