Underwent a pre-race vet exam after racing at MWBK on Friday 29 November 2024 & was passed suitable to race. When questioned, rdr explained that he was INST to attempt to lead today, he said his mount began awkwardly and then raced wide and without cover in the early stages when racing keenly, before he allowed the gelding to stride forward to the L pos near the 1000m. The gelding continued to over race & proved difficult to settle and set strong sectionals through the middle stages before coming under pressure near the 400m where it responded fairly before weakening over the final 150m.
