When quest re perf. rdr stated mount settled outside leader & was inclined to pull in middle stages, which was run at a moderate tempo. Rdr stated when asked to sprint on straightening mount responded only fairly & ground its way to line. Rdr stated mount felt to race flat & may have felt the effects of regular racing, under heavy weight imposts, this preparation. Tnr stated he would endeavour to have geld ridden with cover next start in the hope it can settle & sustain a finishing effort. P/R vet no ab's.
