For a short distance approaching the 600 metres was reluctant to hold its position when racing tight to the inside of another runner. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance Jockey said that after beginning only fairly his mount never travelled comfortably at any stage, was inclined to hang out and did not respond to his riding. |
