Weakened from the 400m and was eased down over the final 100m. Rider reported the mare was under pressure passing the 1000m and was a beaten horse on straightening. He added he had been working the mare leading up to today's meeting and was very confident leading into the race. He further reported mount pulled up well subsequent to the race and could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant findings.

He said, however, mnt came under heavy pressure prior to straightening and did not respond to his riding from that point. He added the gelding raced flat and he was not able to provide any other explanation for its disappointing performance. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr subsequently reported an examination by his usual stable vet revealed no abnormalities, however he advised the gelding has now been spelled.

He said mnt came under heavy pressure prior to straightening and when it gave ground quickly in the early part of the home straight he eased it down from the 300m as he was concerned there may be something amiss. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr was told the gelding would be required to barrier trial prior to racing again. Tnr reported a vet exam of the gelding revealed no abnormalities and it will be given a freshen up.

Underwent a pre-race vet exam upon arrival and was passed suitable to race. Rdr explained instructions were to ride the colt with cover, and after beginning well it then commenced to race keenly and for this reason he allowed the colt to stride forward and ultimately lead. He added the colt then travelled well thereafter however failed to finish the race off and was disappointing. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr subsequently reported the colt pulled up sound and will now be sent for a spell.
