The gelding, which pulled up lame in the off-foreleg at Newcastle on 20 March 2025, underwent a pre-race vet exam and was cleared to race. Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped. Rdr reported that, after establishing the lead during the early stages, his mount was inclined to over race. Std that, after placing it under pressure to improve after straightening, the gelding’s sprint was short lived, with it weakening over the final 200m. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abnormalities.
