Trainer added that he intends to start the horse at the Emerald meeting next week. Jockey confirmed that the performance was disappointing, however he attributed this to the slow pace in the event. He added that his mount was inclined to lay out over the concluding stages and said that over a shorter distance with more pace early he would expect an improved performance. |
