Reset Express	On return to scale, A. Butler reported there was no obvious explanation for his mountts performance and he was of the opinion the travel had affected it after its previous start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg, with wounds to both hind bumpers and an elevated heart rate. Cyclone Fugitive	Held up for clear running soon after straightening. Shifted out near the 200m in an attempt to improve between KAHUNA and CHAT TIME and was disappointed for run. Was again disappointed when attempting a run to the inside of KAHUNA a short time later. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.	Mackay	17/08/2017
Hayyler's Illusion	Slow to begin and then raced 3 wide joint leader without cover for the remainder of the race. When questioned, jockey D. Simmons stated that after being fairly away he had to work hard to obtain the lead and the filly tired over the concluding stages.
