The richest Queensland Winter Greyhound Racing Carnival in history is set to light up The Q in 2026.

Battle lines will be drawn with the running of the eighth annual Origin Greyhound Series.

It’s state vs state as Queensland’s best chasers go head-to-head with their southern rivals, with the Sunshine State looking to retain the title after claiming victory in 2025.

The Sprint and Distance races – both worth $150,000 – will set the scene before the Match Race potentially decides who will take home the shield in 2026.
