The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Novice 520m

SHOOT THRU BLUE was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start CRAZY SEXY and HUCKLEBERRY raced tight and bumped.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion CHEEKY FREYER was checked when racing between HUCKLEBERRY and ROCKAWAY BEACH, both of which shifted.  Shortly after SHOOT THRU BLUE shifted out abruptly bumping the hindquarters of GOT THE ATTITUDE causing this greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Racing in the home straight on the final occasion CRAZY SEXY and ROCKAWAY BEACH raced tight and bumped.

 

Race 2 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

ALL YOU CAN was best to begin.  ELUSIVE DESIRE was slow to begin.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion RIZZINI and NOT THE ONE both shifted out and raced wide.  Racing through the catching pen NOT THE ONE shifted in checking the running of RIZZINI.  Racing in the home straight on the final occasion ALL YOU CAN and ELUSIVE DESIRE raced tight and bumped.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

REGINALD BENZ was very slow to begin.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion LOTUS BLOSSOM shifted in severely checking the running of APATITE causing this greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Shortly after POWER JET and KULU KAMBALDA raced tight and bumped.  Racing through the catching pen both THUNDER EYES and KULU KAMBALDA came together and bumped.  Racing towards the end of the back straight SURFIN’ SUE shifted in severely checking the running of REGINALD BENZ.  Racing towards the winning post POWER JET weakene.

 

The greyhound APATITE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade Heat 3 520m

MISTER TO US was slow to begin.  Racing in the home straight on the 1st occasion FAST BEAN shifted in checking the running of MORE ARIES and LILLY BELLEBIRD.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion BIG DAC shifted in checking the running of FYRE GAL.  Racing through the catching pen BIG DAC and PIPELINE DREAM raced tight and bumped.  Racing through the top turn LILLY BELLEBIRD shifted out checking the running of PIPELINE DREAM.

 

Race 5 – 4th Grade 520m

UP THE ATTITUDE was best to begin.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion BRADLEY BENZ shifted in causing general tightening to all runners with the exception of UP THE ATTITUDE and HAWKO’S MISTAKE.  Shortly after BULL TITAN shifted out checking the running of GUMLOW STAR, SPRING BONANZA and FABULOUS STORM causing these runners to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Racing through the catching pen FABULOUS STORM was checked when racing between BULL TITAN and CUTE TO BOOT.  CUTE TO BOOT raced wide down the back straight.

 

The greyhound HAWKO’S MISTAKE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 6 – 3/4th Grade 520m

KINGSBRAE LAVINA was slow to begin.  Racing in the home straight KULU CHA CHING  shifted in checking the running of SPANISH QUEEN.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion KULU CHA CHING shifted in tightening COIN OF PHRASE, LATE ANGEL LEE and KINGSBRAE LAVINA.  Shortly after SPANISH QUEEN shifted in checking the running of KULU CHA CHING. Racing through the catching pen KING ELLIOT shifted in checking the running of the TITAN ASH.  Racing in the home straight on the final occasion KINGSBRAE LAVINA shifted out off the heels of SPANISH QUEEN.

 

The greyhound LATE ANGEL LEE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound KULU CHA CHING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound KINGSBRAE LAVINA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 600m

BAGO KYSAM was best to begin.  GLASS was slow to begin. Racing into the 1st turn KNAVE shifted out off the heels of SPOOKIE’S GIFT.  Shortly after GLASS shifted out off the heels of DEE GEE JAYEE.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 520m

BILL’S FANTASY was best to begin.  FARMER’S GOLD was slow to begin.  Racing towards h the winning post IVA VISION and FUSAICHI KAHN raced tight and bumped. Shortly after DREAM RIVER shifted in checking the running of GRAND ROMAN. Racing towards the end of the back straight ABBY’S FANTASY shifted in checking the running of IVA VISION.  Racing through top turn GRAND ROMAN shifted out off the heels of DREAM RIVER.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 4 520m

TINY TURBO was slow to begin.  GEMMA DUAL was best to begin.  Racing passed the winning post on the 1st occasion SKUZI shifted out abruptly severely checking the running of THIS TIME REBA, FEMME JOLIE and SPRING FIRECHIEF, causing all 4 greyhounds to become severely unbalanced and lost ground.  LADY ABIGAIL who was following was inconvenienced in this incident.  Racing towards the 1st turn YADA YADA YADA shifted in checking the running of GEMMA DUAL.  Racing towards the end of the back straight LADY ABIGAIL shifted in tightening the running of GEMMA DUAL.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 5 520m

MISS HUSSY and SUDOKU REBEL were slow to begin.  Racing in the home straight on the 1st occasion VEUVE shifted in bumping heavily with INDIANA RUMBLE.  Shortly after SUDOKU REBEL shifted out off the heels of SPRING CHARLIE.  Racing passed the winning post SUDOKU REBEL shifted out forcing MAL ROSE HI who was racing to its outside wide off the track.  Racing through the 1st turn INDIANA RUMBLE shifted in tightening the running of NO CALLARATAH.  Racing down the back straight MAL ROSE HI shifted out and raced wide.  Racing through the top turn SPRING CHARLIE, MISS HUSSY and VEUVE all raced tight and bumped.  Racing towards the home straight on the final occasion NO CALLARATAH shifted out checking the running of VEUVE.
