Race 8 PETITE FOX Injured in running, near hind leg, 7 days
The greyhound HARD LUCK failed a stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m.
YES GERONOMO and SPRITELY LIL were slow to begin. SHAYLOR BOBBY checked off the heels of CHANGALANG on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SPRITELY LIL. HER STORY and YES GERONOMO bumped on the turn into the front straight, resulting in SHE TALKS checking across the heels of HER STORY.
ALL FORCE, GALWAY SUNSET and HE WILL REIGN bumped shortly after the start resulting in GALWAY SUNSET losing ground and causing some inconvenience to SHINOLA. DRAGON DANCER checked off DAZE FLYBY entering the back straight resulting in interference to ALL FORCE. GALWAY SUNSET checked off the heels of ALL FORCE and lost considerable ground in the back straight. On the turn out of the back straight HE WILL REIGN raced onto the hindquarters of DRAGON DANCER resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground.
The greyhound GALWAY SUNSET was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – Novice
395m
YUKON MAN was slow to begin. JAPONICA GIRL and MAGIC IT UP bumped shortly after the start. RUBY DEE checked across the heels of GRANDULLON entering the back straight. GRANDULLON raced wide in the back straight. MAGIC IT UP and GRANDULLON bumped on the turn into the front straight.
Race 4 – Novice
395m
GREAT TRIUMPH and HASHTAG WINNING bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in HASHTAG WINNING losing ground. GOLDBRAU checked off LOVES A ROSE entering the back straight. FAIR DAISY raced wide in the front straight.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade Heat 1 395m
CYCLONE TEMANI and CLASSY TOM bumped entering the back straight. CYCLONE TEMANI and NOTORIOUS LADY raced wide on the turn into the front straight.
The greyhound JUNIOR ROSE HI was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Heat 2 395m
CAPTAIN LONESTAR was slow to begin. LEAH BENZ and ALOTA BALONEY bumped entering the back straight. OPAL SADIE and CAPTAIN LONESTAR bumped on the turn into the front straight. NICHOLSON raced very wide in the front straight.

7 – 5th Grade Heat 3 395m
ALOTA TALK and RAFFA ROSE bumped as the start was effected resulting in ALOTA TALK being checked and becoming unbalanced. SANDY’S GIFT, RAFFA ROSE and CLASSIC TRADER bumped entering the back straight. MANYARA MISS and CLASSIC TRADER bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in CLASSIC TRADER being forced wide and also to become unbalanced. MANYARA MISS and CLASSY SUSAN bumped entering the front straight. ALOTA TALK raced wide over the concluding stages of the race.

8 – 3/4th Grade 395m
WAZZ’S FANTASY and FAITHFUL MUSTANG were slow to begin. Entering the back straight YOUR DEAL shifted ground inwards tightening WAZZA KING onto LINE UP BUOYS onto JUST ITCHIN’. Entering the back straight PETITE FOX has crossed from a right position towards the fence, resulting in YOUR DEAL being checked. PETITE FOX continued to cross to the rail, resulting in JUST ITCHIN’ checking off its heels and falling.
The greyhound JUST ITCHIN’ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

greyhound PETITE FOX was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

9 – 5th Grade Heat 4 395m
LISTEN NOW was very slow to begin. General tightening occurred on the turn into the back straight resulting in the majority of the field being inconvenience with the exception of TARMAC BLACK, BRALYN AMY and LISTEN NOW. SOUTHERN FLOSS and LISTEN NOW bumped on the turn into the front straight. SOUTHERN FLOSS raced wide in the home straight.

10 – 5th Grade Heat 5 395m
MIGHTY ROCKET was tightened for racing room between BAIDEN ROSE HI and SINUK shortly after the start. BLOWIN’ NUMBERS and ESPRESSO SHOT bumped on the turn into the back straight. OPAL SUE shifted in and bumped BAIDEN ROSE HI on the turn into the back straight, resulting in OPAL SUE becoming unbalanced and losing ground. OPAL SUE checked off the heels of CARESSAR in the back straight. CARESSAR raced very wide in the front straight.
