The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Novice 520m

PARCHMENT was slow to begin.  POP THE CORK was tightened for racing room between DON’T’ DOUBLE UP and GOT THE ATTITUDE shortly after the start.  GOT THE ATTITUDE checked off the heels of CHEEKY CHANCE at the top of the front straight on the 1st occasion.  CHEEKY CHANCE shifted out on the turn out of the front straight resulting in POP THE CORK being tightened out onto MACNIVEK.  CHEEKY CHANCE raced onto the heels of POP THE CORK into the front straight.  GOT THE ATTITUDE bumped PARCHMENT on the turn out of the front straight.  SMASHNIAK GOLD checked of the heels of MACNIVEK on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to POP THE CORK. POP THE CORK checked off the heels of SMASHNIAK GOLD on the turn out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound POP THE CORK was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound PARCHMENT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – 5th Grade 520m

REGINALD BENZ was slow to begin.  NO SHOW JONES checked off the heels of TRAV’S FANTASY and fell on the turn out of the front straight.  REGINALD BENZ and MINNIE IMPACT bumped heavily on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.  NO CALLARATAH and WILDASH WARRIOR bumped on the turn into the front straight.  WILDASH WARRIOR raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound NO SHOW JONES was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 520m

LOTUS BLOSSOM was slow to begin.  BIG DAC checked off the heels of PRINCE FREDERICK towards the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion.  FEMME JOLIE checked off the heels of THUNDER EYES on the turn into the back straight.  SKUZI and PRINCE FREDERICK bumped on the turn into the home straight.  SUPER VELO raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 4 – Bogie Leigh Futurity Heat 1 520m

BLESSED RUMBLE and CYNDIE’S MAGIC were slow to begin.  OXLEY RUBEY checked across the heels of STELLA NIGHTS in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  SIVAMET shifted out turning out of the front straight tightening STELLA NIGHTS onto OXLEY RUBEY resulting in BLESSED RUMBLE checking across the heels of OXLEY RUBEY. CYNDIE’S MAGIC raced wide on the turn into the back straight.  BLESSED RUMBLE checked off the heels of OXLEY RUBEY in the back straight.  STELLA NIGHTS raced wide into and down the home straight.  SPRING BONANZA raced wide over the concluding stages.

 

Race 5 – Bogie Leigh Futurity Heat 2 520m

MERCEDES LASS and MISS HUSSY were slow to begin.  WAIKARIE MAGIC and PASSIVE PROTEST bumped on the turn out of the front straight. MERCEDES LASS raced wide into the home straight.

 

Race 6 – Bogie Leigh Futurity Heat 3 520m

CRAZY SEXY was slow to begin.  CRAZY SEXY checked off the heels of VEUVE shortly after the start resulting in VEUVE becoming unbalanced and CRAZY SEXY losing ground.  KINGSBRAE LAVINA shifted in on the turn out of the front straight checking ZULU PRINCESS.  KINGSBRAE LAVINA continued to shift in and bumped DYNAMITE SPEED on the turn out of the front straight.  SILKY OAK checked off the heels of ZULU PRINCESS and bumped CRAZY SEXY on the turn out of the front straight.  CRAZY SEXY and SILKY OAK continued to bump on the turn into the back straight.  CRAZY SEXY raced wide in the back straight.  CRAZY SEXY checked off the heels of SILKY OAK on the turn out of the back straight.  CRAZY SEXY raced wide over the concluding stages of the race.

 

Race 7 – Bogie Leigh Futurity Heat 4 520m

ABBY’S MAGIC was slow to begin.  JAYDEN LASS and MAGIC MAIDEN were tightened shortly after the start between MAJESTIC JESTER and LORIAN ADITI.  MARLISA checked off the heels of KINGSBRAE NEELY on the turn out of the front straight resulting in interference to MAGIC MAIDEN and MAJESTIC JESTER.  KINGSBRAE NELLY checked off the heels of MAGIC MAIDEN prior to entering the turn into the front straight, resulting in interference to MARLISA.  MAGIC MAIDEN and BLUE STATUESQUE bumped on the turn into the front straight.  KINGSBRAE NELLY and MARLISA bumped heavily prior to the finishing line resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 520m

FUSAICHI KAHN and FARMER’S GOLD were slow to begin.  HOUGENIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  HOUGENIE and FUSAICHI KAHN   bumped on the turn out of the front straight.  HOUGENIE checked off the heels of FUSAICHI KAHN on the turn into the back straight. ROSE OF GALO checked off the heels of IVA VISION prior to the finishing line.  HOUGENIE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 9 – 3/4th Grade 520m

OPUS FORTE was slow to begin.  RENATUS was tightened for racing room and lost some ground shortly after the start.  OPUS FORTE raced wide in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  UP THE ATTITUDE checked off the heels of FABULOUS STORM on the turn out of the front straight.  BAGO KYSAM and RENATUS bumped prior to entering the back straight.

 

The greyhound FABULOUS STORM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – 4th Grade 520m

PICTURES PEARCE and HOPE’S FANTASY were slow to begin.  DASHING MAN was marginally slow to begin.  MELODY SERENADE shifted out turning out of the front straight forcing PICTURES PEARCE wide and bumping DASHING MAN.  HAWKO’S MISTAKE lost ground sharply in the back straight appearing injured.  MELODY SERENADE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound HAWKO’S MISTAKE vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
