The greyhound PHOEBE’S FLAME performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.29.
The greyhound BLACKJACK GENT performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.11 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
The greyhound DONW THEY CAME performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.13 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
FANCY SCHMANCY was best to begin. SAMMY DO THAT was slow to begin. Entering the top turn SAMMY DO THAT and TOTTENHAM TERROR collided. Also in the top turn CATWALK SHOW LEE raced wide. Entering the home straight CATWALK SHOW LEE raced wide. Entering the home straight SAMMY DO THAT and TOTTENHAM TERROR collided forcing TOTTENHAM TERROR wider on the track. Down the home straight CATWALK SHOW LEE continued to race wide.
The
greyhound SAMMY DO THAT was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
DASHING DIME and AMELIA BENZ were best to begin. LADY SHOW CORBA was slow to begin. Down the back straight SPRING CALIBER, SMASHNIAK FIVE and REPAIRED LADY raced tight causing REPAIRED LADY to drop back. On the top turn LATE SHOW CORBA and REPAIRED LADY collided causing REPAIRED LADY to take no further competitive part in the event. Approaching the winning post SMASHNIAK FIVE and SPRING CALIBER collided.
The greyhound REPAIRED LADY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – Novice 331m
Even start with KINETIC KING slow to begin. In the back straight TRUE BLUE ICE and ACE CHARMER collided causing KINETIC KING to be checked. Entering the top turn WON MY HEART checked off the heels of HARA’S SOPHIE causing WON MY HEART to check ACE CHARMER. Entering the home straight TRUE BLUE ICE checked off the heels of ACE CHARMER. In the home straight TRUE BLUE ICE raced wide.
Race 4 – Novice 331m
GENERATION IRON and SUM TING WONG were best to begin. BUN JEE was slow to begin. GARDA BLUE, WITCHES RICHERS and MACARENA MISS raced tight causing WITCHES RICHERS to lose ground shortly after the start. GARDA BLUE wide in the top turn. In the home straight GARDA BLUE raced wide.
Race 5 – Maiden 331m
BOOTYDO was best to begin. SPY MISS was slow to begin. Entering the top turn BOB EFFECTS and SMASH TO FEAR collided causing SMASH TO FEAR to check SPY MISS.
The greyhound SMASH TO FEAR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 395m
MR. ELEGANT was best to begin. SINUK and MERMAID LANE were slow. Turning into the back straight NIMTZ and WINGED ELITE collided. In the back straight SINUK raced wide. Approaching the top turn MISS SHADOW checked off the heels of MR SNEAKY SNEAKY causing MISS SHADOW to check MERMAID LANE.
The greyhound NIMTZ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m
Even start. Turning into the back straight HOLLYWOOD HEARTS and BIG DAC collided causing BIG DAC to drop back. Approaching the top turn DREAM RIVER checked off the heels of JESS NIRO checking BIG DAC. Turning into the front straight GLORIA TRICK and CHAMPS collide.
The greyhound KULU ROO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – 5th Grade 520m
MINNESOTA NICE and SHOT OF FEAR were best to begin. DIRTY DESSA was slow to begin. Entering the turn out of the home straight BRALYN AMY and SHOT OF FEAR collided. In the back straight JAYDEN LASS raced wide. In the home straight TAIPAN’S TIME raced wide.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
CHICKS BUZZARD was best to begin. MAYWYN OODLES was slow to begin. Entering the back straight WOTA ROCKSTAR and MAYWYN OODLES collided causing MR. BANDALARUS to check off the heels of MAYWYN OODLES causing MR. BANDALARUS to stumble, resulting in MAYWYN OODLES falling. Approaching the finishing line GLOBAL DEEJAY and CHICKS BUZZARD collided.
The greyhound MAYWYN OODLES was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
BLUE RANGER was slow to begin. Turning into the back straight COUNTRY BULLET and TOUGH LINC collided. TOUGH LINC checked off the heels of BLUE DEN which in turn checked ZAFONIC’S LADY. Into the back straight BLUE DEN and ZAFONIC’S LADY raced wide. Turning into the home straight SIR BAZZ ATTACK and ZAFONIC’S LADY raced wide.
The greyhound TOUGH LINC was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
