The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 395m

DAYSEAS FREDDIE was best to begin.  TANAYAH BAZ was slow to begin.  Entering the turn into the back straight TANAYAH BAZ was tightened for room between HARA’S SAMUEL and PLUM JAM.  Leaving the back straight TAIL GUNNER checked off the heels of DAYSEAS FREDDIE hampering BAZZA’S ISSUE.  HARA’S SAMUEL raced wide turning into the home straight.  FLYING CESSNA raced wide throughout the home straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 395m

FAMOUS FOR FUN was slow to begin.  Entering the turn into the back straight CLAYBRO NINJA was tightened for room between SHAYLOR BOBBY and TAKE ALL CREDIT.  SHAYLOR BOBBY raced onto the hindquarters of DIANNE’S PEARL entering the back straight, resulting in DIANNE’S PEARL losing significant ground.  CLAYBRO NINJA raced wide throughout the home straight.  Prior to the finishing line STILL COUNTING checked across the heels of TAKE ALL CREDIT.

 

The greyhound DIANNE’S PEARL was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Maiden 395m

CAPTAIN MORGAN was best to begin.  LATESHOW MATISSE was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start BILLY’S KRUSING and GOTTA GET UP bumped.  Turning into the back straight MEGATRON MISS checked off the heels of LOCA FORAY.  Entering the back straight BIG BAGO checked off the heels of CAPTAIN MORGAN.  BILLY’S KRUSING which was following was checked.  Entering the turn into the top straight BIG BAGO checked off the heels of BILLY’S KRUSING.  LOCA FORAY and CAPTAIN MORGAN bumped heavily entering the front straight.  CAPTAIN MORGAN raced wide over the concluding stages.

 

The greyhound LOCA FORAY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 4 – Maiden Final 395m

Even start.  Shortly after the start SHINOLA checked off the heels of SOME VALUE.  Shortly after the start TEQUILLA SWINGER checked off the heels of NINJA LLOYDIE.  Turning into the back straight SOME VALUE continued to shift in causing interference to FEAR OF JUDY.  Entering the back straight WANDACETTE shifted in across the heels of SOME VALUE, resulting in WANDACETTE becoming unbalanced causing interference to TEQUILLA SWINGER.  On the turn out of the back straight TEQUILLA SWINGER checked off the heels of NOT TODAY MATE.  WANDACETTE and NOT TODAY MATE bumped on the turn into the front straight, resulting in WANDACETTE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

 

The greyhound TEQUILLA SWINGER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – Novice 395m

Even start.  Shortly after the start GOLDBRAU was tightened for room between CHANGALANG and HARA’S SIZZLE.  Entering the turn into the back straight MR. SLY checked off the heels of RUBY DEE, resulting in that greyhound suffering interference.  On the turn into the front straight MR. SLY improved along the rail bumping GOLDBRAU out across the heels of DAYSEAS COSMO.

 

Race 6 – Novice 395m

TOKATEE KAHN and SEXY SUMO were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start TOKATEE KAHN and SEXY SUMO bumped.  Entering the turn into the back straight TWICE AS NICE checked off the heels of MARLEY MAGIC, resulting in TWICE AS NICE shifting out causing some interference to CLASSY CHURCHIE.  Shortly after CLASSY CHURCHIE was checked off the heels of IVORY KING and lost considerable ground.  Leaving the back straight TRU BLU DASH shifted out to avoid the heels of HER STORY and in doing so checked MARLEY MAGIC.  TWICE AS NICE raced wide through the home straight.

 

The greyhound CLASSY CHURCHIE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 395m

Even start.  Entering the turn into the back straight BEAU JILLEM checked off the heels of WAZZ’S FANTASY.  Entering the back straight JUST ITCHIN’ tightened WAZZ’S FANTASY onto HARA’S HARRY.  In the back straight HARA’S HARRY checked and lost considerable ground from WAZZ’S FANTASY shifting.  In the back straight DARE TO TELL checked off the heels of CHAMPS.  CLASSY TOM raced wide over the concluding stages.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 395m

Even start.  Shortly after the start EVIE’S ANGEL was tightened for room between ANGELIC MISS and MINNIE JAYDA who was taken in by OH THAT’S NICE.  Entering the back straight BILL’S MAGIC checked MODERN MISS.  Also at this point MINNIE JAYDA checked off the heels of OH THAT’S NICE.  Shortly after ANGELIC MISS checked off the heels of OH THAT’S NICE, resulting in further interference to MINNIE JAYDA and EVIE’S ANGEL.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m

GREAT TRIUMPH was best to begin.  In the back straight NEVER ENDS checked off the heels of GREAT TRIUMPH causing interference to FENRIR.  On the turn into the front straight GANGNAM STRIDE checked off the heels of JEEPSTER.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

DIAMOND OSPREY, POWER JET and CLASSIC TRADER were all slow to begin.  Turning into the back straight REDDY RANGER checked off the heels of OBIN TOMMY.  In the back straight REDDY RANGER checked off the heels of DIAMOND OSPREY.  DAYSEAS DOLLY checked off the heels of POWER JET entering the back straight, resulting in DAYSEAS DOLLY becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground, finishing a distant last.  On the turn into the front straight REDDY RANGER shifted wide causing some inconvenience to POWER JET.  POWER JET raced wide down the home straight.

 

The greyhound DAYSEAS DOLLY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
