The greyhound RUBY’S SWELL performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.69.
The greyhound CAPTAIN CES performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.41.
REPAIRED LADY was best to begin with MARIO RACER slow to begin. SHAYLOR DAISEY checked off the heels of CURL THE WAVE and lost ground shortly after the start. CURL THE WAVE checked off the heels of SOCIAL DANCER in the back straight. CURL THE WAVE checked off the heels of CORNELIA BREE on the turn out of the back straight. SHAYLOR DAISEY and CURL THE WAVE bumped heavily on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
Even start. The field raced very tight in the back straight resulting in CORNELIA FLO losing some ground. COCO CRAZY checked off the heels of SWITCH BLADE and lost some ground in the back straight. CORNELIA FLO raced wide in the home straight.
Race 3 – Novice 331m
ALL RIVERS RUN was best to begin. WALK FREE was slow to begin. TRUE BLUE ICE checked across the heels of OUR ISLAND HOME on the turn into the front straight. MACARENA MISS and OUR ISLAND HOME bumped entering the home straight resulting in OUR ISLAND HOME becoming unbalanced and MACARENA MISS losing ground. HARA’S SORPHIE raced wide in the home straight.
Race 4 – Novice 331m
Even start with SPRITELY RYLEY marginally slow and HARA’S SAMUEL slow to begin. CREDIT LIMIT checked across the heels of TRIPLE CROWN LAD and lost ground in the back straight. SPRITELY RYLEY checked off the heels of SUPER LUIGI and lost ground in the back straight. ROCKET TRACEY checked across the heels of TRIPLE CROWN LAD and lost some ground in the front straight.
The greyhound CREDIT LIMIT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – Maiden Final 331m
DAME MELBA OSTI was best to begin. COOL CREDIT and SPRING ZONE were marginally slow to begin. COOL CREDIT checked off the heels of OKA’S ANGEL and lost ground shortly after the start. SHE TALKS checked off the heels of SPRING ZONE in the back straight and lost ground. Shortly after SHE TALKS raced onto the heels of MEGATRON MISS resulting in MEGATRON MISS becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. KID GENIUS checked off the heels of SPRING ZONE on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to COOL CREDIT and OKA’S ANGE. KID GENIUS and SPRING ZONE lost considerable ground as a result of the incident. KID GENIUS raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound SPRING ZONE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 4/5th
Grade 395m
Even start. SPIKE BENZ and ROCKY BE GOOD bumped on the turn into the back straight. SHE’S TOO HOT checked off the heels of REGATTA on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to COUNTRY BULLET, SPIKE BENZ, ROCKY BE GOOD, ELUSIVE GLIDER and MODERN MISS. SHE’S TOO HOT checked off the heels of CHAMPS approaching the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to COUNTRY BULLET. SHE’S TOO HOT checked off the heels of SPIKE BENZ on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SHE’S TOO HOT losing ground back onto ROCKY BE GOOD who fell as a result. ELUSIVE GLIDER shifted out in the home straight forcing SHE’S TOO HOT wider on the track.
The greyhound ROCKY BE GOOD was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – 4th Grade 395m
Even start with CODY’S GRAND slow to begin. HARA’S HARRY checked off the heels of BILL’S MAGIC and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight. MR SNEAKY SNEAKY shifted in on the turn into the back straight tightening HARA’S HARRY onto MADE THAT WAY, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. MADE THAT WAY checked off the heels of MR SNEAKY SNEAKY on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to HARA’S HARRY and CODY’S GRAND. BILL’S MAGIC and MR. ELEGANT bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in BILL’S MAGIC becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. PETITE FOX raced wide in the home straight.
Race 8 – Best 8 395m
GLORIA TRICK was best to begin and SUMER’S BUG was slow to begin. MR. SHILLING checked off the heels of KULU ROO on the turn into the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to LATE TROTS ANGEL. SUMMER’S BUG checked off the heels of COUNTRY CHARM on the turn into the back straight. SUMMER’S BUG checked off the heels of COUNTRY CHARM on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SUMMER’S BUG losing some ground. LATE TROTS ANGEL raced onto the heels of COUNTRY CHARM after turning out of the back straight, resulting in COUNTRY CHARM losing considerable ground. SUMMER’S BUG and ABBY’S FANTASY bumped on the turn into the front straight. SUMMER’S BUG and ABBY’S FANTASY bumped just prior to the finishing line.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
GLOBAL DEEJAY checked off the heels of TRIPLE CROWN GAL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. WOTA ROCKSTAR checked across the heels of SUM TING WONG after turning out of the back straight.
The
greyhound WOTA ROCKSTAR was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
KIDATEE JOSH was slow to begin. LADY DAMA, INTILACH and COUNTRY ROCKET bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in LADY DAMA losing ground.
The greyhound LADY DAMA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
