The greyhound JULIE’S PARTY failed a stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m.
The greyhound EXPRESS LEO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.96.
The greyhound SHAYLOR DOM performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.07.
The greyhound ELLIE’S VOLUNTAS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.22.
The greyhound CLASSY SUSAN performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.59.
SPRING ZONE was best to begin with KASEY’S TURBO slowly away. Entering the turn out of the back straight DOIN’ ME HEAD checked off the heels of TIA MARIA causing DOIN’ ME HEAD to drop back checking KASEY’S TURBO and CORDOBA. In the home straight COOL CREDIT was wide.
The greyhound DON’ ME HEAD was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start with HOT LIKE SUNSET and EARN A QUID slowly away. Approaching the top turn WOOZIE DOOZIE and MISS MULLIGAN collided. In the home straight EARN A QUID was wide.

side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 331m
SON OF PRADA was best to begin with TICKET TO RIDE and SPY MISS slowly away. Entering the top turn URBAN ENFORCER checked off the heels of CAPTAIN MORGAN. In the home straight CAPTAIN MORGAN was wide.
Race 4 – Maiden Final 331m
Even start with MARIO RACER slowly away. Entering the turn out of the back straight SPIDER MAIL checked off the heels of NEUROLOGICAL causing NEUROLOGICAL to race wide. On the top turn REPAIRED LADY and RADLEY’S JACKPOT collided. In the home straight NEUROLOGICAL was wide.
Race 5 – Novice 331m
MACARENA MISS was best to begin with TARA MARRIE, LITTLE IVORY and MISS BECKY SAM slowly away. On the turn out of the back straight SUPER LUIGI checked off the heels of MISS RUCKUS forcing MISS RUCKUS wide. In the home straight DIANNE’S PEARL was wide.
The
greyhound MISS RUCKUS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 6 – Novice 331m
BOOTYDO was best to begin with PROVEN TRAX slowly away. On the top turn MR. MARAUDER and PROVEN TRAX were wide. Entering the home straight OUR ISLAND HOME and DAME MELBA OSTI collided.
The greyhound PROVEN TRAX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound DAME MELBA OSTI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 395m
LE SIRENUSE was best to begin with MAL ROSE HI slowly away. In the back straight MAL ROSE HI was wide. Entering the top turn DENZANO OSTI checked off the heels of REGATTA. On the top turn MAL ROSE HI was wide. In the home straight BOGIE TOM was wide.
Race 8 – 5th Grade 395m
CLASSIC TRADER was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start TRAV’S MAGIC and I’M MILLY TRICK collided. Entering the back straight LUV YA DIGGER and MIGHTY ROCKET collided causing MIGHTY ROCKET to drop back checking TRAV’S MAGIC. Entering the top turn LUV YA DIGGER checked off the heels of HOTSHOT HERO. On the top turn HOTSHOT HERO checked off the heels of I’M MILLY TRICK causing HOTSHOT HERO to fall. In the home straight LUV YA DIGGER was wide.
The greyhound HOTSHOT HERO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
CREDIT LIMIT and SUM TING WONG were best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Entering the turn into the back straight SPRITELY RYLEY, BURWANA and POWER JET collided causing POWER JET to check off the heels of SPRITELY RYLEY, forcing SPRITELY RYLEY wide in the back straight. In the home straight SPRITELY RYLEY and DASHING DIME were wide.
The greyhound POWER JET was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
GYMPIE FLYER was best to begin with BELLA NARCISSUS slowly away. Entering the back straight GREAT TRIUMPH checked off the heels of BILLY’S CRUSADER causing GREAT TRIUMPH to drop back checking TOKATEE KAHN. Entering the top turn GYMPIE FLYER and BILLY’S CRUSADER collided causing GYMPIE FLYER to drop back taking no further competitive part in the event. On the top turn GREAT TRIUMPH checked off the heels of BILLY’S CRUSADER with BILLY’S CRUSADER and TOKATEE KAHN collided prior to the finishing line.
The greyhound GYMPIE FLYER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
