GENERAL

 

The greyhound JESS NIRO performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.28 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

The greyhound SHOW BOUND performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.60.

 

The greyhound IRISIZE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.42.

 

The greyhound CAHILL EXPRESS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.16.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 520m

DOOLEY’S HOBO was best to begin with SANRICO WENDY slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight MASTER HAYMAKER and MID WESTERN GIRL collided.  In the back straight BONTEMPELLI was wide.  On the turn out of the back straight BETYY’S GEM and BONTEMPELLI collided causing BONTEMPELLI to stumble.  In the home straight BY GOLLY MOLLY was wide.

 

The greyhound BETTY’S GEM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 520m

Even start with WITCH HUNTER slowly away.  Soon after the start SPECIAL VISION and MISS RUBIROSA collided.  On the turn out of the home straight HOBO JANE and FAST AS collided.  In the back straight QUEEN LOCH BRAE was wide.  Entering the home straight SPECIAL VISION and QUEEN LOCH BRAE collided.  In the home straight WITCH HUNTER was wide.

 

The greyhound SPECIAL VISION was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 520m

WICKED QUEEN and CHEVALEIR NUIT were best to begin with BERNIE CHEE slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight BERNIE CHEE checked off the heels of CHIEF HASSLER causing CHIEF HASLLER to shift out checking ARISTOTLE.  On the turn into the back straight ARISTOTLE was wide.  In the home straight NIL ALL DRAW was wide.

 

The greyhound CHIEF HASSLER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – Novice 520m

BRODIE’S MEMORY, SHANGHAI LIL and ZOIMOU were best to begin with FLAUNT IT slowly away.  Soon after the start FLAUNT IT and NOW FEAR THIS collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight FLAUNT IT checked off the heels of DOLLAR GIRL.  Entering the back straight FLAUNT IT checked off the heels of ZOIMOU.  In the home straight DOLLAR GIRL and WICKED PRINCE were wide.

 

Race 5 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m

Even start with MISS HUSSY slowly away.  Soon after the start ZIPPING KENDRA and REALITY GHOST collided.  Entering the home straight MAGICAL DUST and MINNIE IMPACT collided.  In the home straight REALITY GHOST and ZIPPING KENDRA collided.  On the turn out of the home straight MAGICAL DUST was wide.  In the back straight MAGICAL DUST and TWICE AS NICE were wide.  On the top turn TWICE AS NICE was wide.  Entering the home straight MISS HUSSY and MINNIE IMPACT collided.

 

The greyhound TWICE AS NICE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  The connections of TWICE AS NICE were questioned over the greyhound’s performance and they advised that the greyhound can not perform over this distance.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

FARMOR EYE AM was best to begin with RIZZINI slowly away.  Soon after the start RENOUF’S MAGIC and CHARIOT’S OFFIAH collided.  Approaching the turn out of the home straight BEAT THE BULLET and DASHING JILLIE collided.  Entering the back straight DASHING JILLIE eased and took no further part in the event.  On the top turn and home straight RIZZIN was wide.

 

The greyhound DASHING JILLIE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

DARE TO TELL was best to begin with FOUR WAY FINAL slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight CHEEKY CHANGE and CYNDIE’S MAGIC collided.  On the turn out of the home straight DARE TO TELL and FOUR WAY FINAL collided.  In the back straight BLACK MODEL was wide.  Approaching the winning post in the home straight CYNDIE’S MAGIC and ANNIE BENZ collided.

 

Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 520m

PRINCE FREDERICK and BULL TITAN were best to begin with UP THE ATTITUDE and SOLO MISS slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight SOLO MISS checked off the heels of CARDIAC KING.  In the back straight UP THE ATTITUDE was wide.  On the top turn UP THE ATTITUDE was wide.  In the home straight UP THE ATTITUDE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight CARDIAC KING and POCAHONTAS collided.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 3 520m

MAIN STORY was best to begin with GEARS OF WAR and PASSIVE PROTEST slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight BRALYN COOKIE and PASSIVE PROTEST collided forcing BRALYN COOKIE wide.  On the turn out of the home straight FAST BEAN and WAZZ’S FANTASY collided.  Entering the back straight GEARS OF WAR checked off the heels of FAST BEAN.  In the home straight BRALYN COOKIE was wide.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 4 520m

LITTLE TRISH was best to begin with ROCKAWAY BEACH slowly away.  Soon after the start DASHING CANUTE and VELOCITY SHIRL collided.  Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion HOUINDEED, DASHING CANUTE and VELOCITY SHIRL collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight RADLEY RETURN, LARA SAINT and ROCKAWAY BEACH collided.  Entering the back straight RADLEY RETURN checked off the heels of LARA SAINT.  In the home straight RADLEY RETURN was wide.

 

The greyhound RADLEY RETURN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
