The greyhound GRIM CREEPER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.32.
The greyhound PEBBLE BAY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.32.
The greyhound UNDERMINER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.50.
The greyhound SHAYLOR CRASH performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.42.
ROCKING RONNY was best to begin with HAWTHORN BUDDY slow. Through the 1st turn STILL COUNTING and BUN’S GUNS came together. Shortly after, ROSABEL was tightened between GOLD TOTAL and ROCKING RONNY with all greyhounds becoming unbalanced. As a result ROSABEL shifted out checking CASEY UNDERCOVER and GALWAY REAL DEAL and HAWTHORN BUDDY which was following was inconvenienced. Down the back straight CASEY UNDERCOVER checked off the heels of BUN’S GUNS. At the same time ROCKING RONNY shifted out hampering STILL COUNTING. Through the top turn GALWAY REAL DEAL improved onto the heels of ROSABEL. Entering the home straight GALWAY REAL DEAL shifted out turning its head and marring the running of ROSABEL.
Stewards advised trainer Mr. K Galloway that the greyhound GALWAY REAL DEAL would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks.
FOXIE UNDERCOVER was best to begin with GALWAY SUPERSTAR slow. Immediately after the start BANK ON ME shifted in tightening LATESHOW MATISSE and SUNDAY SUNRISE. At the same time TWO BEERS was tightened between SIDE STEP GARY and ZARA GIRL. Entering the back straight TWO BEERS shifted out off the heels of ZARA GIRL and both greyhounds lost ground. GALWAY SUPERSTAR which was following was inconvenienced. SUNDAY SUNRISE was wide through the back straight. Entering the top turn TWO BEERS and SUNDAY SUNRISE came together.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 395m
BIG TIME HUSTLER and STEVIE NIX were best to begin. Through the 1st turn ROCKET’S ANGEL shifted in colliding with EL GRAND JUNIOR. WESTERN HONEY shifted in tightening YES GERONOMO. STEVIE NIX shifted in tightening BIG TIME HUSTLER. ROCKET’S ANGEL and SISTA TASHA collided and FEAR THE RECALL which was following was inconvenienced. Entering the back straight EL GRAND JUNIOR and BIG TIME HUSTLER came together and lost ground. Entering the home straight YES GERONOMO shifted out off the heels of WESTERN HONEY.
Race 4 – Novice 395m
HER FAULT was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn general tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding MR. MARAUDER. As a result BRING BACK JOE fell and took no further competitive part in the event. BLACK WIDOW and SPRITELY RYLEY lost ground in this incident and HER FAULT which was following was inconvenienced.
The greyhound BRING BACK JOE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – Novice 395m
DAZE FLYBY and IVORY KING were slowly away. Through the 1st turn DAZE FLYBY shifted out off the heels shifted out off the heels of ELL’S ALL CLASS then collided with IVORY KING. Shortly after, CHANGALANG and UNLUCKY MAX came together and became unbalanced with ELL’S ALL CLASS which was racing to the outside inconvenienced and DAZE FLYBY which was following inconvenienced. Approaching the top turn DAZE FLYBY improving onto the heels of IVORY KING and both greyhounds were checked. Entering the home straight PROVEN TRAX shifted out off the heels of GENERATION IRON.
Race 6 – 1/2nd
Grade 395m
LUV YA DIGGER was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn KULU ROO shifted in tightening LATE TROTS ANGEL and GEMMA DUAL. LUV YA DIGGER and MADE THAT WAY which were following were inconvenienced. Entering the back straight MADE THAT WAY shifted in tightening GLORIA TRICK which lost ground. GLORIA TRICK and MR. SHILLING came together entering the home straight.
Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m
KULU DEE JAY was best to begin. Through the 1st turn WAZZA KING and CLOUD LAND were tightened between BLACK TWITTER and JUST ITCHIN’ which shifted. VEUVE which was following was inconvenienced. Passing the catching pen BILL’S MAGIC improved onto the heels of KULU DEE JAY checking this greyhound. Entering the back straight JUST ITCHIN’ shifted out off the heels of BLACK TWITTER. Shortly after, LOTUS BLOSSOM shifted out off the heels of BILL’S MAGIC. Entering the top turn WAZZA KING improved onto the heels of KULU DEE JAY checking this greyhound. Racing through the top turn KULU DEE JAY was tightened between WAZZA KING and BILL’S MAGIC. As a result KULU DEE JAY lost ground and colliding heavily with BLACK TWITTER and CLOUD LAND. JUST ITCHIN’ which was following was inconvenienced and LOTUS BLOSSOM which was racing to the outside was checked as BLACK TWITTER was forced to shift ground outwards.
The greyhound KULU DEE JAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 – 5th Grade 395m
Even start. Shortly after the start SURE YOUR CAN shifted out checking HOPE’S MAGIC and MERMAID LANE while MIGHTY OAK and EVIE’S ANGEL came together. Passing the catching pen BEST MATE GONE was tightened between MIGHTY OAK and MERMAID LANE. Entering the back straight HOPE’S MAGIC and SURE YOU CAN were tight and unbalanced. Approaching the top turn HOPE’S MAGIC shifted in tightening MIGHTY OAK. SPY QUEEN and MERMAID LANE raced tight entering the home straight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 2 395m
CHAMPS was best to begin. Shortly after the start CLASSY TOM improved onto the heels of CANDY CRUSH and was checked. Passing the catching pen CANDY CRUSH was tightened between BOSANOVA and DIAMOND OSPREY and lost ground. Entering the home straight CHAMPS and DIAMOND OSPREY came together.
Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 3 395m
Even start. Through the 1st turn BLUE DEN, PEARLS ANGEL and MIDNIGHT TAMMY were tightened between PURE EDGE and DAYSEAS FREDDIE, both of which shifted. DAYSEAS FREDDIE, MIDNIGHT TAMMY and PEARLS ANGEL lost ground as a result and CLASSY CHURCHIE which was following was checked. Approaching the top turn BLUE DEN and DAYSEAS FREDDIE raced tight and unbalanced. Racing through the turn CLASSY CHURCHIE improved onto the heels of MIDNIGHT TAMMY and both greyhounds were checked.
