The greyhound FLICK PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.10.
The greyhound SWIFT PIRATE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.71.
The greyhound FORWARD PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.93.
The greyhound CHATSWORTHY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.55.
The greyhound LONG LONG LOGAN performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.30.

SCHOLASTIC was best to begin. SASSY DUDE was slow to begin. LIGHTS OF BROOME checked off the heels of IMPROVISION and lost ground entering the back straight. SASSY DUDE checked off the heels of SOFT SHIRAZ and lost ground entering the back straight. LIGHTS OF BROOME checked across the heels of SOFT SHIRAZ in the early and back straight resulting in LIGHTS OF BROOME becoming unbalanced and shifting out bumping heavily with SASSY DUDE. SASSY DUDE was forced wide in the back straight and LIGHTS OF BROOME raced wide in the back straight. IMPROVISION raced wide on the turn out of the back straight. LIGHTS OF BROOME raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound SASSY DUDE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start with FEAR LADY slow to begin. RYLI’S CAM checked off the heels of TWELVE STEPS entering the back straight resulting in interference to SO YOU SAID. KNOCKA’S MATE checked off the heels of TWO MINUTE on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. RYLI’S CAM and TWELVE STEPS bumped shortly before the finish line.
The
greyhound TWO MINUTES was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off front toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 331m
This race was delayed one minute due to an interstate harness racing.
ANOTHER HASSLER was best to begin. BILLS GINGER RAP, SIR MARLOW OSTI and SIDE STEP GARRY were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. SIR MARLOW OSTI checked off the heels of SIDE STEP GARY and lost ground prior to entering the back straight. SIDE STEP GARY raced wide in the back straight. MISHA raced wide on the turn out of the back straight. BILL GINGER RAP raced wide on the turn into the home straight. BILLS GINGER RAP raced wide in the home straight.
Race 4 – Novice 331m
Even start with LITTLE IVORY marginally slow to begin. CASSIOPEIA was tightened for racing room between NANNY CHAR CHAR and COUNTRY FLASH and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. COUNTRY FLASH also lost ground as a result. NANNY CHAR CHAR and COUNTRY FLASH bumped in the home straight. HANSON MURRAY raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound CASSIOPEIA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – Novice 331m
The start of this race was delayed 1.30 minutes due to overseas racing.
Even start. URBAN STREET checked off the heels of FOLLOW THE GOLD and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to WASABI WARRIOR. DAYSEAS COSMO checked off the heels of DAVID’S MEMORY and lost some ground approaching the turn out of the back straight, resulting in RYLI’S RAMBO being inconvenienced. RYLI’S RAMBO checked across the heels of FOLLOW THE GOLD on the turn into the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. MISS KARA was tightened for racing room between URBAN STREET and FOLLOW THE GOLD and was inconvenienced on the turn into the home straight. WASABI WARRIOR, URBAN STREET and FOLLOW THE GOLD bumped in the back straight resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. URBAN STREET shifted out in the home straight forcing WASABI WARRIOR to race wide.
Race 6 – Maiden Final 331m
Even start. LUCY’S LUCK was tightened for racing room between BELLA LEE and URBAN ENFORCER on the turn entering the back straight. BAR KING shifted in entering the back straight tightening URBAN ENFORCER onto BELLA LEE, in turn onto FOXIE UNDERCOVER, resulting in URBAN ENFORCER becoming unbalanced and losing ground and FOXIE UNDERCOVER and BELLA LEE being tightened and losing ground. URBAN ENFORCER checked off the heels of MIS ELEGANCE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. BELLA LEE shifted out entering the home straight and continued to shift out checking across the heels of LUCY’S LUCK. BELLA LEE raced very wide to the finish.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m
CRAZY SEXY was best to begin. ROCKAWAY BEACH and EL CHAD were slow to begin. ROCKAWAY BEACH and BOGART BLEND bumped on the turn out of the front straight. MILLIE’S COMET shifted out on the turn out of the front straight, resulting in EL CHAD being forced wide and checking across its heels. MILLIE’S COMET continued to shift out forcing TWEED CHIC to race wide on the turn. EL CHAD checked off the heels of BOGARD BLEND and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. VICTORY PRINCE and ROCKAWAY BEACH raced wide in the back straight. VICTORY PRINCE and MILLIE’S COMET raced wide in the home straight.
Race 8 – 5th Grade 395m
BLUE DEN was best to begin and NEUROLOGICAL was marginally slow to begin. REGATTA crossed shortly after the start tightening IRISH MADE onto NOTORIOUS LADY in onto MISS PITTY PAT in turn onto MARLO GOOD, resulting in all these greyhounds being tightened and becoming unbalanced with NOTORIOUS LADY losing considerable ground. IRISH MADE shifted in on the turn into the back straight resulting tightening MISS PITTY PAT onto BLUE DEN, in turn onto COUNTRY ELITE, resulting in these greyhounds becoming severely unbalanced and losing considerable ground, resulting in interference to MARLO GOOD. NOTORIOUS LADY raced wide in the back straight. MISS PITTY PAT and REGATTA bumped heavily in the front straight, resulting in MISS PITTY PAT becoming unbalanced and shifting out further bumping REGATTA.
Stewards queried the racing manners of MISS PITTY PAT in particular in the front straight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
ROCKET TRACEY was best to begin. DIRTY DESSA was slow to begin. PRATER’S PROBLEM knuckled and almost fell shortly after the start. MAJESTIC BEACH checked off the heels of ROCKET TRACEY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. HER STORY checked off the heels of MAJESTIC BEACH and lost ground on the turn into the back straight, resulting in interference to MR. BANDALARUS and MR. MARAUDER. MR. BANDALARUS raced onto the hindquarters of MR. MARAUDER entering the back straight, resulting in MR. MARAUDER suffering severe interference and MR. BANDALARUS losing ground. ROCKET TRACEY and DIRTY DESSA bumped on the turn into the home straight. PRATER’S PROBLEM raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound PRATER’S PROBLEM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound MR. MARAUDER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 10 – 4/5th Grade 395m
Even start with WALLY WHO CALLS slow to begin. GAMAH’S WONDER shifted in shortly after the star tightening MR. ELEGANT in onto RYLI’S RANGA, resulting in RYLI’S RANGA losing ground. CITY BREEZE crossed on the turn into the back straight tightening OBIN TOMMY onto BLUE STATUESQUE with both greyhounds losing ground as a result. GAMAH’S WONDER lost ground appearing injured entering the back straight. COUNTRY BULLET checked off the heels of WALLY WHO CALLS and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight. BLUE STATUESQUE shifted out across the heels of OBIN TOMMY in the back straight, resulting in BLUE STATUESQUE bumping WALLY WHO CALLS out onto COUNTTY BULLET. BLUE STATUESQUE raced wide in the home straight.
The
greyhound GAMAH’S WONDER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near side hock and was stood down for a period of 42 days.
