GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Novice 520m

ALPHA ACHILLES was best to begin with SPECIAL VISION and DOOLEY’S HOBO slowly away.  Soon after the start FOR LUCK and QUEEN OF SHOW collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight ENDLESS SHADOW and DOOLEY’S HOBO collided.  On the turn into the back straight ALPHA ACHILLES and NO WAY ARNI collided causing NO WAY ARNI to falter with DOOLEY’S HOBO checking off the heels of NO WAY ARNI causing DOOLEY’S HOBO to fall.  Soon after this incident ENDLESS SHADOW and NO WAY ARNI collided.  On the top turn FOR LUCK was wide.  Entering the home straight QUEEN OF SHOW and ENDLESS SHADOW collided.

 

The greyhound DOOLEY’S HOBO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – 5th Grade 520m

CHEEKY CHANCE was best to begin with PARCHMWENT and QUEENIES BEST slowly away.  Soon after the start CHEEKY CHANCE and HOUSO DELIGHT collided.  Approaching the wining post on the 1st occasion ROCKET READY and QUEENIES BEST collided.  On the turn out of the home straight PARCHMENT and CHEEKY CHANCE collided causing CHEEKY CHANCE to check QUEENIES BEST.  In the back straight and top turn ROCKET READY was wide.  Entering the home straight HIGHLIFE was wide.

 

Race 3 – FFA 331m

BANC DE KAHN was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Entering the top turn KULU DEE JAY and MAGIC GALO collided.  On the top turn KULU DEE JAY and BANC DE KAHN were racing tight and bumping.  Entering the home straight OBIN TOMMY checked off the heels of KULU DEE JAY causing OBIN TOMMY to check GLORIA TRICK.  In the home straight KULU DEE JAY checked off the heels of BANC DE KAHN causing KULU DEE JAY to check GLORIA TRICK.  In the home straight BANC DE KAHN was wide.

 

The greyhound KULU DEE JAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – FFA 395m

Even start with UPPER CLASS LAD and KULU ROO slowly away.  Soon after the start YOUR DEAL and LATE TROTS ANGEL collided causing LATE TROTS ANGEL to check OVER THERE.  Entering the back straight KULU ROO checked off the heels of OVER HERE causing OVER HERE to check YADA YADA YADA.  In the back straight OVER HERE was wide.  On the top turn OVER HERE was wide.

 

The greyhound KULU ROO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – Open 600m

TITAN ASH was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start KIDATEE CROC and SHERIDON collided.  Entering the turn into the home straight IVA VISION and ALARM BELLS collided.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion KIDATEE CROC was wide.  In the back straight SHERIDON was wide.  On the top turn KIDATEE CROC and ALARM BELLS collided.  In the home straight SHERIDON was wide.

 

Race 6 – 3/4th Grade 520m

Even start with BLUE SCORPION and KNAVE slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight SPRING BONANZA, WHATA NICE SIZE and THIS TIME REBA collided causing WHATA NICE SIZE to drop back with LE SIRENUSE checking off its heels causing LE SIRENUSE to fall.  In the back straight THIS TIME REBA was wide.  In the home straight THIS TIME REBA was wide.

 

The greyhound WHATA NICE SIZE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

The greyhound LE SIRENUSE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 7 – Superstayers Final 710m

DZEKO was best to begin with LADY TOY and CYNDIE’S MAGIC slowly away.  Entering the top turn on the 1st occasion LADY TOY checked off the heels of MULLAWAY.  Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion MULLAWAY and LADY TOY collided.  In the home straight DZEKO was wide.  Approaching the finishing line CYNDIE’S MAGIC and MULLAWAY collided.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 520m

DREAM RIVER and ROSE OF GALO were best to begin with PICTURES PEARCE slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight DREAM RIVER checked off the heels of ROSE OF GALO.  Soon after DREAM RIVER checked GRAND ROMAN and LADY ABIGAIL, who in turn checked TEE BRADY.  On the turn out of the home straight LADY ABIGAIL was wide.  In the back straight LADY ABIGAIL was wide.  In the home straight LADY ABIGAIL was wide.

 

The greyhound ROSE OF GALO was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m

NO CALLARATAH and BLUE STATUESQUE were best to begin with DON’T GO QUIETLY slowly away.  Soon after the start BLUE STATUESQUE crossed to the outside checking HOPE’S MAGIC.  Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion SUPER VELO checked off the heels of THUNDER EYES causing THUNDER EYES to check RENOUF’S MAGIC.  On the turn out of the home straight DOUBLE STORM and RENOUF’S MAGIC collided.  On the turn out of the home straight SUPER VELO was wide.  Entering the back straight DON’T GO QUIETLY checked off the heels of NO CALLARATAH.  In the back straight BLUE STATUESQUE was wide.  In the home straight BLUE STATUESQUE was wide.  Approaching the finishing line DON’T GO QUIETLY and HOPE’S MAGIC raced tight and bumped.

 

The greyhound THUNDER EYES was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m

GRIN AND WIN and FEMME JOLIE were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start RIZZINI and HAZY JANE collided.  Halfway down the straight VICTORY PRINCE and HAZY JANE collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight HAZY JANE checked off the heels of VICTORY PRINCE causing RIZZINI to collide with HAZY JANE causing HAZY JANE to fall and RIZZINI taking no further competitive part in the event.  In the back straight MAIN STORY was wide.  On the top turn and into the home straight VICTORY PRINCE was wide.

 

The greyhound RIZZINI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound HAZY JANE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
