The greyhound SWIFT PIRATE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.79.

 

The greyhound CHATWORTHY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.37.

 

The greyhound FORWARD PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.67.

 

The greyhound FLICK PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.86.

 

The greyhound LONG LONG LOGAN performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.26.

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 331m

LUCY’S LUCK was best to begin with KASEY’S TURBO slowly away. Approaching the turn out of the back straight LUCY’S LUCK and COSMIC TALEYA collided.  On the turn BILLS GINGER RAP checked off the heels of REPAIRED LADY causing those 2 greyhounds to falter and take no further competitive part in the event.  In the home straight BILLS GINGER RAP was wide.

 

The greyhound REPAIRED LADY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BILLS GINGER RAP was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 331m

Even start with SET TO SCORE and BLACK STREET BOY slowly away.  On the turn out of the back straight SOMETHIN’ FIZZY was wide.  Entering the home straight BLACK STREET BOY and SOMETHININ’ FIZZY collided.  In the home straight BLACK STREET BOY was wide.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 331m

AMELIA BENZ was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Entering the top turn BUSH SPIRIT and AMELIA BENZ collided causing AMELIA BENZ to falter and take no further competitive part in the event.  On the top turn IMPROVISION was wide.  In the home straight IMPROVISION was wide.

 

The greyhound BAR KING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound AMELIA BENZ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – Maiden Final 331m

SCHOLASTIC was best to begin with SPY MISS slowly away.  Soon after the start MARINERS BEACH and ANOTHER HASSLER collided.  Entering the top turn SPY MISS checked off the heels of MARINERS BEACH.  On the top turn TWO AND SIXPENCE checked off the heels of SCHOLASTIC.  Entering the home straight TWO AND SIXPENCE and ANOTHER HASSLER collided.

 

The greyhound SPY MISS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SCHOLASTIC was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 5 – Novice 331m

BURBBY TURBY was best to begin with SHAKIRA BELLA and DESIGN BOY slowly away.  Soon after the start OUR ISLAND HOME and BILLY’S KRUSING collided.  Entering the top turn SHAKIRA BELLA and OUR ISLAND HOME collided.  On the top turn DESIGN BOY was wide.  Entering the home straight SUPERSONIC SHAK and BALL ALLEY ANNIE collided.  In the home straight BILLY’S KRUSING and DESIGN BOY were wide.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 395m

SIR BAZZ ATTACK was best to begin with BILLYCATH slowly away.  On the turn into the back straight SMASH EM UP and ZIPPING MANI collided.  In the back straight SPIKE BENZ was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight ZIPPING MANI checked off the heels of BILLYCATH.  On the top turn SMASH EM UP was wide.  In the home straight MAKE THE SWITCH, ZAFONIC BOOM and SPIKE BENZ were racing tight and bumping.

 

The greyhound BILLYCATH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m

ZAFONIC’S LADY was best to begin with WILDASH TAPPER and SIVAMET slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion WILDASH TAPPER and WILDASH REV collided forcing MICRAJEWEL wide.  On the turn out of the home straight WILDASH TAPPER checked off the heels of SIVAMET.  In the back straight SIVAMET checked off the heels of WILDASH REV.  On the top turn JEEPSTER checked off the heels of ZAFONIC’S LADY.  In the home straight  MICRAJEWEL was wide.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start.  Entering the back straight ALL RIVERS RUN and STUART’S CHOICE collided.  In the back straight STUART’S CHOICE checked off the heels of CAPTAIN CES.  On the top turn MILLIE’S COMET was wide.  In the home straight MILLIE’S COMET was wide.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m

MARNIE TEE and EXPRESS LEO were best to begin with COSMIC CATCH slowly away.  Soon after the start MAJESTIC BEACH and FANCY SCHMANCY collided.  Entering the back straight EXPRESS LEO and WILDASH WILDFIRE collided.  In the back straight COSMIC CATCH was wide.  On the top turn MARLO GOOD and MARNIE TEE collided.  In the home straight KAPALUA was wide.

 

The greyhound FANCY SCHMANCY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

SIR TIGER OSTI was best to begin with BED OF NAILS slowly away.  Soon after the start SHE SAID NO, BED OF NAILS and STEVIE’S TURBO raced tight and bumped.  On the turn into the back straight PASO APASO and ROCEKT TRACEY collided.  In the back straight WILDASH DUKE was wide.  Entering the home straight WILDASH DUKE and PASO APASO collided.
