Even start with JUST BE GUN slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight OUTSIDE PASS and DETROIT MUSCLE collided. On the turn out of the home straight MAGIC MOUSSE marred the running of SURFING PRINCE causing SURFING PRINCE to check JUST BE GUN. On the turn into the back straight SURFING PRINCE was wide. In the back straight DETROIT MUSCLE was wide. Entering the home straight SURFING PRINCE ran out turning its head outwards marring DUSTY THURSDAY checking MAGIC MOUSSE and JUST BE GUN. Soon after DUSTY THURSDAY jumped the outside running rail and took no further part in the event.
The greyhound DUSTY THURSDAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Turley that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

Even start. Soon after the start TEMNICK, ANGRY ALICE and MOCHA LATTE collided causing ANGRY ALICE to drop to the rear. On the turn out of the home straight MOCHA LATTE and GOT A BROTHER collided. Entering the turn into the back straight MASTER CODY checked off the heels of DON’T DOUBLE UP causing MASTER CODY to check IN THE PICTURE. In the home straight MOCHA LATTE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight ANGRY ALICE checked off the heels of MASTER CODY. In the home straight BE ZANEY and IN THE PICTURE were wide.

ROSDUE BOOMER was best to begin with GRIN AND WIN slowly away. Soon after the start GEORGINA and SWIFT PIRATE collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight MISS JACKPOT checked off the heels of MADE THAT WAY causing MADE THAT WAY to check MR. CODY. Entering the back straight MADE THAT WAY and MR. CODY collided. In the back straight MISS JACKPOT and GRIN AND WIN were wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight BLACK PARADOX and MADE THAT WAY collided. Entering the home straight ROSDUE BOOMER and GEORGINA collided. In the home straight MISS JACKPOT was wide.

DASHING CANUTE and HOPPIN HOUDINI were best to begin with JAYDEN LASS and SHE’S TOO HOT slowly away. Soon after the start SUPER VELO and COSMIC BOSS collided. On the turn out of the home straight ELUSIVE STRIKE checked off the heels of HOPPING HOUDINI. Entering the back straight SHE’S TOO HOT and DAYSEAS RIGG were wide. Entering the top turn SHE’S TOO HOT checked off the heels of DAYSEAS RIGG. On the turn out of the back straight ELUSIVE STRIKE and SUPER VELO collided. Entering the turn in the home straight COSMIC BOSS and ELUSIVE STRIKE collided checking SUPER VELO. In the home straight SHE’S TOO HOT was wide.

On the top turn and home straight GRIM CREEPER was wide.

Even start with RENOUF’S MAGIC slowly away. Soon after the start KIDATEE CROC and BULL TITAN collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight SENOR’S MISTRESS and WAIKARIE MAGIC collided. On the turn out of the home straight WAIRKARIE MAGIC and BULL TITAN collided. In the back straight UP THE ATTITUDE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight UP THE ATTITUDE and KIDATEE CROC collided. In the home straight UP THE ATTIDUDE as wide.
The greyhound WAIKARIE MAGIC was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

CYNDIE’S MAGIC and SHERIDON were best to begin with GLASS slowly away. Through the top turn on the 1st occasion GLASS checked off the heels of MULLAWAY. In the home straight STARGATE SYSTEM was wide. In the back straight STARGATE SYSTEM was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight on the 2nd occasion STARTIN’ MONDAY and COSMIC WATERS collided. Entering the home straight on the 2nd occasion MULLAWAY checked off the heels of SHERIDON. In the home straight STARGATE SYSTEM was wide.
Race 8 – Best 8 520m
FABULOUS STORM was best to begin with ELUSIVE DESIRE and KEYBOW slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight ELUSIVE DESIRE, KEYBOW and LADY ABIGAIL all collided. On the turn out of the home straight KEYBOW checked off the heels of LADY ABIGAIL. Entering the back straight LADY ABIGAIL and SPRING BONANZA collided. In the home straight FLASH REALITY was wide.
The greyhound KEYBOW was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
THAT ONE was best to begin with LAVERNE stumbling checking WAR PICTURE after the start. Down the running LAVERNE and WAR PICTURE collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight THAT ONE and SPECIAL GIRL collided. Entering the back straight GIGGLING BEACH and COSMIC CYCLONE collided forcing COSMIC CYCLONE wide in the back straight. Entering the turn out of the back straight GIGGLING BEACH and WAR PICTURE collided causing WAR PICTURE to drop back sharply. On the top turn LAVERNE was wide. In the home straight WAR PICTURE and LARA SAINT were wide.
The greyhound LAVERNE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards interviewed trainer Mr. F Hancock who stated the greyhound had not been on the track and that the greyhound once got the check was lost and that he is going to nominate the greyhound next week and stewards should see an improvement. Stewards advised Mr. Hancock if the greyhound put in a repeat performance stewards will be taking further action.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
MINNIE IMPACT was best to begin with BEAT THE BULLET and CASH IN MOTION slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight DYNAMITE SPEED and CASH IN MOTION collided causing CASH IN MOTION to check MISS JAX forcing MISS JAX wide on the turn. In the back straight MISS JAX was wide. Entering the top turn HOUSO DELIGHT and SHANIA SIND collided. In the home straight and top turn MISS JAX was wide.
