The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating
Race 2 KLINGER Injured in running, off side wrist, 14 days
Race 8 DENZEL BENZ Injured in running, near hind, 7 days
The greyhound SUMMER GLORY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m and is now cleared all tracks. No time was recorded due to a malfunction.
The greyhound DOOLEY’S FIT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of and is now cleared to nominate all tracks. No time was recorded due to a malfunction.
The greyhound TREVON’S FURY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.08.
The greyhound LAKODA DAWN performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.03.
The greyhound GOOD GIRL JANICE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.41.
The greyhound LA MADRINA performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.33.
VELOCITY EMBER and TRANSMEDIA were best to begin. IMA COWBOY, TO BIRDIES, RANGER REID, ISSY COOL and HESA BIRD all raced tight shortly after the start. Approaching the turn into the front straight HESA BIRD shifted out and contacted the heels of TRANSMEDIA, causing it to become unbalanced and lose some ground. RANGER REID gave ground in the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.
The greyhound RANGER REID was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. P McBlane that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance, must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating.
REAL FEAR was best to begin. Shortly after the start SIR BLINK contacted the heels of KLINGER when that greyhound crossed. Approaching the turn into the back straight REAL FEAR clipped the heels of SHIFT SEINE and lost momentum. KLINGER gave ground in the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.
The
greyhound KLINGER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 3 – Novice 520m
The start of this race was delayed when LADY KIN proved difficult to box. This greyhound will be endorsed ‘hard to box’. OUR GOLD was best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the front straight ELITE SOX contacted the heels of LOCHILIME causing this greyhound to become unbalanced and lose momentum. Leaving the turn out of the front straight OUR GOLD and LARINA LEE bumped. LARINA LEE lost considerable ground in this incident. OUR GOLD raced wide in the front straight.
The greyhound LARINA LEE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 520m
STUART’S CHOICE was best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight STUART’S CHOICE shifted in and tightened the racing room of HIGHLIFE, causing this greyhound to be checked, which in turn hampered CHEVALEIR NUIT. BELLA BOO BOO gave ground over the final stages of the event and a warning was issued.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade 520m
Even start with CYCLONE CLIFFORD slow to begin. Leaving the front straight CYCLONE CLIFFORD shifted out and made contact with CAMBLA GIRL causing this greyhound to lose some ground. CAMBLA GIRL gave ground over the concluding stages and a warning was issued.
Race 6 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m
Even start with UNGOVERENED and EGYPTIN LASS slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the front straight UNGOVERNED shifted out and contacted the heels of SIVAMET and then in turn SKETCHY AIMY. EGYPTIAN LASS was checked as a result of this incident. Approaching the turn into the back straight UNGOVERNED contacted the heels of EGYPTIAN LASS and lost some ground.
The greyhound DAINTY LASS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 600m
Even start with FAST NET and COSMIC BOSS slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the front straight BLACK PARADOX shifted out and contacted the heels of MINNIE IMPACT, resulting in both greyhounds being checked and losing ground.
The ‘all clear’ was delayed to allow stewards the opportunity to view the replay of the race in respect to the positioning of the lure leaving the front straight. After viewing the replay stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was disadvantaged and the ‘all clear’ was given.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 520m
CARDIAC KING and GOLFING AMY were best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the front straight SIMPATICO and GOLFING AMY came together, resulting in GOLFING AMY losing ground. Rounding the 1st turn DENZEL BENZ contacted the running rail and shifted out and as a consequence GOLFING AMY was checked. ALPHA ATHENA was checked as a result of this incident. Rounding the turn out of the front straight CARDIAC KING shifted out and made contact with HEIDI BENZ and in turn PIPELINE DREAM with all 3 greyhounds losing considerable ground.
The
greyhound DENZEL BENZ was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
Even start. Approaching the turn out of the front straight MY TINY SIZE shifted out and made contact with GENERATION IRON, which then shifted out and made contact with AUSSIE ALI, which resulted in GENERATION IRON being severely checked and losing considerable ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight VAGUE MEMORIES shifted out and made contact with HER FAULT, which resulted in both greyhounds being checked.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
THAT ONE was best to begin. ALPHA ACHILLES was slow away. Rounding the turn out of the front straight MASTER CODY became unbalanced and shifted out making heavy contact with MISS HUSSY, and as a consequence both greyhounds were checked. In the back straight MASTER CODY shifted out and clipped the heels of IRINKA SHANE.
