Trainer Mr. D Turley was fined $50 for No Catcher for the greyhound SWEET AS BETH under Rule 48.

Race 1 – Novice 520m

MARLUCA was best to begin with ISSY COOL and ASTON UGO slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion SHIFT SEINE and MARLUCA collided.  On the turn out of the home straight GREAWT KNOCK THAT checked off the heels of ALL FORCE, forcing GREAT KNOCK THAT wide.  On the turn into the home straight ISSY COOL and ASTON UGO collided.  In the home straight ALL FORCE was wide.

 

The greyhound MAGIC SPARKLE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – 5th Grade 520m

NO CALLARATAH and BEAT THE BULLET were best to begin with TINY TURBO and GLOBAL DEEJAY slowly away.  Soon after the start AEROPLANE JACK and BEAT THE BULLET collided.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion GLOBAL DEEJAY AEROPLANE JACK collided.  On the turn out of the home straight OUR GOLD and GLOBAL DEEJAY were wide.  Entering the top turn OUR GOLD checked off the heels of GLOBAL DEEJAY.  In the home straight OUR GOLD and GLOBAL DEEJAY were wide.  Approaching the winning post BRAE GIFT and GLOBAL DEEJAY collided.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 520m

ROSDUE BOMMER and APATITE were best to begin with DON’T DOUBLE UP slowly away.  Soon after the start VELOCITY SPICE and BE ZANEY collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight THIS TIME REBA and ROSDUE BOOMER collided.  On the turn out of the home straight ROSDUE BOOMBER checked off the heels of ABBY’S MAGIC.  In the back straight BE ZANEY was wide.  In the home straight VELOCITY SPICE was wide.

 

The greyhound ROSDUE BOOMER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 520m

FLASH HOUDINI and GET A LIFEBOUY were best to begin with ANOTHER HASSLER and SWEET AS BETH slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion ROSDUE DYNAMO and ALARM BELLS collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight YALINGA and ROSDUE DYNAMO collided.  On the turn out of the home straight ANOTHER HASSLER and YALINGA were wide.  Entering the back straight SWEET AS BETH checked off the heels of GET A LIFEBOUY.  In the back straight YALINGA was wide.  On the turn into the home straight ALARM BELLS and ANOTHER HASSLER collided.  In the home straight IN THE PICTURE was wide.

 

The greyhound ALARM BELLS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 520m

SENOR’S MISTRESS and FLASH ZOE were best to begin with SUDOKU REBEL slowly away.  Soon after the start SPECIAL GIRL and SENOR’S MISTRESS collided.  On the turn out of the home straight DON’T GO QUIETLY and HOPE’S FANTASY collided.  Entering the back straight SPECIAL GIRL checked off the heels of DON’T GO QUIETLY.  In the back straight SUDOKU REBEL was wide.  In the home straight SPECIAL GIRL checked off the heels of HOPE’S FANTASY.

 

The greyhound SPECIAL GIRL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 600m

GOLFING AMY was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion CYNDIE’S MAGIC and FURY ROSE HI collided.  On the turn out of the home straight RENATUS was wide.  In the back straight ZIPPING SPIKE was wide.  In the home straight ZIPPING SPIKE was wide.

 

Race 7 – 4th Grade 520m

KING ELLIOT was best to begin with MPINGO slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight DASHING CANUTE and BULL TITAN collided.  On the turn out of the home straight OH THAT’S NICE and TITAN ASH collided forcing DASHING CANUTE wide.  Entering the back straight TITAN ASH and MPINGO collided.  Entering the top turn OH THAT’S NICE and BULL TITAN collided.  In the home straight DASHING CANUTE was wide.

 

The greyhound BULL TITAN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 520m

Even start with KNAVE slowly away.  Soon after the start CYNDIE’S SPECIAL and DREAM RIVER collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight KNAVE shifted out severely checking HOUGENIE and DREAM RIVER causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event.  Entering the home straight ANNIE BENZ and MAIN STORY raced tight and bumped.

 

The greyhound DREAM RIVER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m

LAURYN’S BEST was best to begin with INSPECTOR CLOUD and SHANIA SIND slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight INSPECTOR CLOUD and MILLIE’S COMET collided.  In the back straight MADE THAT WAY checked off the heels of BLUE TARTAN with INSPECTOR CLOUD wide.  Entering the home straight LARA SAINT and INSPECTOR CLOUD collided.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m

GOT A BROTHER was best to begin with SMASHNIAK CLASS and GENERAL CLOUD slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight SMASHNIAK CLASS and GENERAL CLOUD were wide.  Entering the back straight ALPHA ADONIS checked off the heels of ROCKET’S MAGIC.  In the back straight SMASHNIAK CLASS was wide.  Entering the turn into the home straight ALPHA ADONIS checked off the heels of GENERAL CLOUD causing ALPHA ADONIS to check SMASHNICK CLASS.  In the home straight ALPHA ADONIS was wide.

 

 

The greyhound ALPHA ADONIS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
