Race 1 – Maiden Final 331m

Even start.  Soon after the start XENA LEE and JAYLO’S JET collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight FOXIE UNDERCOVER and XENA LEE collided.  Entering the turn out of the back straight JAYLO’S JET checked off the heels of XENA LEE.  In the home straight XENA LEE was wide.

 

Race 2 – Novice 331m

BOGIE LILLY and MIDNIGHT HAYZE were best to begin with ELECTRIC FISH an STILL COUNTING slowly away.  Entering the top turn BOGIE TICKET checked off the heels of JACK OSCAR causing BOGIE TICKET to shift out checking STILL COUNTING.  In the home straight BOGIE TICKET was wide.

 

The greyhound BOGIE TICKET was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Lightning Heat 1 331m

ZABALETA and INCANDESCENT were best to begin with BOUNCER BENZ slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight GOLDEN LOTUS checked off the heels of ZAMBEZI ROCK.  Entering the home straight SMASHNIAK CLASS checked off the heels of INCANDESCENT causing SMASHNIAK CLASS to check QUEENIES BEST.  In the home straight ZAMBEZI ROCK was wide.

 

Race 4 – Lightning Heat 2 331m

Even start.  Entering the turn out of the back straight KAWASAKI ROSE checked off the heels of OLLIE BENZ causing KAWASAKI ROSE to drop back checking WON MY HEART.  Entering the home straight CRAZY SEXY checked off the heels of COUNTRY POWER causing CRAZY SEXY to race wide in the home straight.

 

Race 5 – Lightning Heat 3 331m

The greyhound YOUR DEAL was vetted pre race and no apparent injuries were found and passed fit to compete.

 

BILL’S MAGIC was best to begin with MAKE THE SWITCH slowly away.  Soon after the start TWO SIZE’S ALL and BLACKJACK GENT collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight MAKE THE SWITCH checked off the heels of TOUGH LINC.  On the top turn and home straight MAKE THE SWITCH was wide.

 

The greyhound MAKE THE SWITCH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BILL’S MAGIC was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 6 - Lightning Heat 4 331m

The greyhound RITZA ROMAN was vetted pre race and no apparent injuries were found and was passed fit to compete.

 

RITZA ROMAN and LAURYN’S BEST were best to begin with PLUM JAM slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight MARINERS BEACH and MISS RUCKUS collided causing MARINERS BEACH to drop back checking GYMPIE FLYER.  On the turn out of the back straight PLUM JAM was wide.  Entering the home straight COUNTRY DANCER checked off the heels of MISS RUCKUS causing MISS RUCKUS to race wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MARINERS BEACH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – Lightning Heat 5 331m

Even start with FULL ON ATTITUDE and SHANAE’S MAGIC slowly away.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight CITY BREEZE checked off the heels of BETOWN GEM.  On the top turn CITY BREEZE was wide.  In the home straight BIG WINSTON was wide.

 

The greyhound CITY BREEZE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 - Lightning Heat 6 331m

JOIE ECLAT and WHATA NICE SIZE were best to begin with EARNED TALKING slowly away.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight SIP OF SHIRAZ checked off the heels of WHATA NICE SIZE causing WHATA NICE SIZE to drop to the rear taking no further competitive part in the event.  Entering the home straight LADY CORSAIR and DANCIN ANNABEL collided.  In the home straight LADY CORSAIR was wide.

 

The greyhound WHATA NICE SIZE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 - Lightning Heat 7 331m

WAZZA KING and OVER HERE were best to begin with FARMOR SENOR slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight SOCCER BALL and HOLLYWOOD HEARTS collided.  On the turn out of the home straight SOCCER BALL was wide.  In the home straight OVER HERE was wide.

 

The greyhound SOCCER BALL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 10 - Lightning Heat 8 331m

WINNING HEARTS was best to begin with IBRA CADABRA slowly away.  Soon after the start IBRA CABABRA checked off the heels of WESTERN ROSE.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight ADAM’S ANGEL and MILLIE’S COMET collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight WINNING HEARTS checked off the heels of LA MADRINA causing WINNING HEARTS to drop back checking HOPE’S MAGIC.  In the home straight MILLIE’S COMET was wide.

 

Race 11 – 4/5th Grade 395m

ALOTA BALONEY was best to begin with GOLD PLATED slowly away.  Soon after the start EXPRESS LEO and MULWEE GRAND collided causing EXPRESS LEO to check HAZLE ROSE HI.  Entering the back straight GOLD PLATED and MATT’S COURAGE collided causing GOLD PLATED to check HAZLE ROSE HI.  In the back straight EXPRESS LEO was wide.  On the turn into the home straight GOLD PLATED and HAZLE ROSE HI collided causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide.

 

The greyhound MULWEE GRAND was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 12 – 4/5th Grade Final 395m

PETITE FOX was best to begin with LIL’ BIT SPARKY slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight ZAFONIC’S LADY, SOHO VANE, SANDGROUNDER and DENZANO OSTI all collided causing ZAFONIC’S LADY and SANDGROUNDER to drop to the rear and take no further competitive part in the event.  In the home straight BIG DAC and SANDGROUNDER were wide.
