EARLY SUPER was best to begin. VEGAS BOUND was slow out. Approaching the turn out of the front straight ANYKEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight ANYKEY contacted the running rail and lost ground. In the front straight ANYKEY collided with ZODIAC QUEEN.
The
greyhound ANYKEY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Even start. Approaching the turn out of the front straight HAY YOU BOY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost considerable ground. SHANIA SIND and TOBIAS RUMBLE were checked as a result of this incident.
Race 3 – 5th

Even start. YOUI was tightened for racing room shortly after the start, checked and lost some ground. Leaving the front straight PEARLS ANGEL and LOTUS BLOSSOM bumped.
Race 4 – 5th

TITAN ASH was best to begin. Rounding the turn out of front straight I’M I SAID checked off the heels of HOUINDEED and lost ground. Entering the back straight GEORGINA made heavy contact with the hindquarters of MADE THAT WAY causing MADE THAT WAY to fall and take no further competitive part in the race. BREMER was checked as a result of this incident.
The greyhound MADE THAT WAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 5 – Molly Campbell
Heat 1 520m
CASH IN MOTION was best to begin. Shortly after the start SMART SPIRIT shifted out resulting in tightening between MAGICAL YESSAM and MARLUCA causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight MARLUCA clipped the heels of SNOWBALL BAZZA and lost ground. Leaving the front straight RATATAT contacted the heels of FABULOUS BILL, was checked and lost momentum. Approaching the turn into the back straight SNOWBALL BAZZA and MARLUCA bumped causing both greyhounds to be checked.
Race 6 - Molly Campbell
Heat 2 520m
Even start. Approaching the turn out of the front straight RHYTHMIC EARNER was checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPRITELY CHARM and FEISTY FIE was checked for racing room and lost ground. ALPHA THESEUS raced wide in the back straight. Approaching the turn out of the back straight IMA COWBOY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the run to the finish TOP PROSECUTOR turned its head made muzzle contact and marred the running of TASER SHOCK on 2 occasions.
Stewards advised trainer Mr. N Catchpole that the greyhound TOP PROSECUTOR would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m
BIRKDALE BEAUTY, KINGSBRAE LAVINA and BUTCHULLA BOY were best to begin. OVER HERE was very slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight OVER HERE checked off the heels of KINGSBRAE LAVINA and lost momentum.
In the run to the finish KINGABRAE LAVINA turned its head and made muzzle contact and marred the running of BIRKDALE BEAUTY. Stewards advised trainer Mrs. G Dart that the greyhound KINGSBRAE LAVINA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.
Mr. Ruetschi the trainer of OVER HERE advised that the greyhound was having its 1st start back from falling at Lismore at its previous start and had been trained very well and he expected a forward showing however, the greyhound missed that start and after receiving some slight interference rounding the turn into the back straight. He was at a loss to explain its performance there afterwards. The greyhound OVER HERE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. P Ruetschi that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating.
Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 520m
VEUVE was best to begin. RENATUS was slow to begin. HOPE’S MAGIC was tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the front straight, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight UP THE ATTITUDE shifted out and made contact with RENATUS causing that greyhound to be checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight VEUVE and DON’T GO QUIETLY bumped.

greyhound RENATUS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
Race 9 – 4/5th Grade 600m
Even start. Approaching the turn into the front straight SMASHNIAK GOLD shifted out and made contact with CHEEKY CHANCE causing that greyhound to shift out and make heavy contact with PICTURES PEARCE, resulting in both CHEEKY CHANCE and PICTURES PEARCE being severely checked and lose considerable ground.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
FLASH ZOE and SMOKEM UP SMOKEY were best to begin. MASTER CODY dwelt at the boxes. STARGATE SYSTEM was slow to begin. Leaving the front straight FLASH ZOE contacted the heels of SMOKEM UP SMOKEY shifted out and made contact with GENERAL CLOUD causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Leading into the back straight MASTER CODY contacted the heels of FLASH ZOE on a number of occasions resulting in MASTER CODY being checked and losing ground. In the front straight CRACKING CAZA contacted the heels of HEIDI BENZ causing both greyhounds to be hampered.-
