The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 1 AVONDALE ALPHA Injured in running, near side pin, 28 days
Race 6 AL SENOR Injured in running, off side hock, humanely euthanised
Race 6 DIRTY DESSA Injured in running, off hind back muscle, 6 weeks
The start of this event was delayed to hold for an interstate venue.
DUSTY ROCKS and BEETOWN OSCAR were both slow to begin. Approaching the home turn AVONDALE ALPHA sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event. WHAT A GUN and BEETOWN OSCAR both raced wide rounding the home turn.
The
greyhound AVONDALE ALPHA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near side pin and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
Even start. Shortly after the start LAKODA BUTTONS improved up onto the heels of ROSCO BANG BANG and lost ground. Approaching the home turn LAKODA BUTTONS was held up for clear running. BROWN MAGIC, HANSON TOM and SAMUEL BENJAMIN all raced wide throughout.
The greyhound BOKARM CHRISSY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – Novice 331m
LAND LORD’S DIP and LEADFOOT JODY were best to begin. SASHA’S DESIRE was slowest. Running down the back straight SON OF PRADA improved onto the heels of HANSON MURRAY resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the home turn MAGIC MOVER was checked off heels. HANSON MURRAY and SON OF PRADA which were following were both inconvenienced and raced wider from that point.
Race 4 – Novice 331m
MR. WOODS and FOXIE UNDERCOVER were best to begin. Approaching the home turn SHIFTY SCHAFER raced extremely wide from that point. ALOTA AMY which was racing to its outside was bumped and forced wider losing its position.
The greyhound SHIFTY SCHAFER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – Maiden Final 331m
LIMKO FLYER and MISTER DEBONAIR were both slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn LIMKO FLYER was tightened for room and lost ground. Through the home turn OAKEY SMOKEY and IVORY both raced wide. Rounding the home turn LIMKO FLYER was held up for clear running.
The greyhound BOKARM LACHIE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Masters 395m
Even start. Shortly after ALOTA TALK and DIRTY DESSA were both tightened for room and lost ground. Out of the 1st turn ALOTA TALK was checked off the heels of ELITE PHOENIX resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced. Approaching the home turn AL SENOR sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event.
The
greyhound AL SENOR was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and humanely euthanised.
The
greyhound DIRTY DESSA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.
Race 7 – 5th
Grade Masters 395m
STONEBROOK and HANSON COSMOS were slow to begin. Into the 1st turn KAWASAKI ROSE, CUT OUT PASS, WINGED ELITE and MAGIC GALO were all tightened resulting in KAWASAKI ROSE, CUT OUT PASS and WINGED ELITE all being checked and CLASSY TOM and STONEBROOK which were following both being inconvenienced.
Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 395m
DIAMOND OSPREY was best to begin. Out of the 1st turn IBRA CADABRA and STRIKE A DEAL were both crowded for room resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. SLASHIN’ PETE raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
Even start. Through the 1st turn DINGY WE KNOW was tightened for room and lost ground. TATTOO which was following was checked and shifted out making contact with SPRING AGUSTUS which resulted in that greyhound becoming unbalanced losing ground. Approaching the top turn DINGY WE KNOW was checked off heels shifted out making contact with CELESTIAL SELENE. PINK SCISSORS which was racing to its outside was forced wider on the track at that point.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
TOKATEE KAHN and CHADOR KAHN were both slow to begin. Into the 1st turn there was general tightening from SOMETHIN’ FIZZY, MISS ELEGANCE, RIDES OF SCOOTER and CLASSY SPRING. MISS ELEGANCE and CLASSY SPRING raced wide for the majority.
Race 11 – 5th Grade 395m
BOSANOVA and REGATTA were best to begin. Into the 1st turn HARDLINER, KINGSBRAE REDFOO, MAKE THE SWITCH and DELTA QUEEN all raced tight resulting in KINGSBRAE REDFOO and MAKE THE SWITCH losing ground. Leaving the 1st turn HARDLINER improved onto the heels of DELTA QUEEN and lost ground. HARDLINER and DISMANTLE raced wide throughout. BOSANOVA and IVAN’S MATE raced tight bumping several times over the concluding stages.
Race 12 – 3/4th Grade 395m
WAZZ’S FANTASY, SPANKY’S LEGEND and BOGIE LILLY were slow to begin. Through the 1st turn HOLLYWOOD HEARTS was tightened for room becoming unbalanced losing its position. WAZZ’S FANTASY which was racing to its outside was checked and forced wider. BOGIE LILLY raced wide for the majority of the event. Approaching the home turn PETITE FOX was checked from heels resulting in that greyhound and SPANKY’S LEGEND to lose ground.
