The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound GALWAY SUPERSTAR performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.24 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks except Brisbane until after 24 November 2015.

 

The greyhound RICOCHET ROSE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.36.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 520m

UNIQUE KALEESI was best to begin with DANGEROUS BEAUTY slowly away.  Soon after the start UNIQUE KALEESI shifted out checking BLUE PRINCE, LEGAL FANTASY and MONKEY’S UNCLE.  Entering the turn out of the home straight TIPPETT AND RUN and DANGEROUS BEAUTY collided.  On the turn out of the home straight UNIQUE KALEESI checked off the heels of BLUE PRINCE causing BLUE PRINCE to shift out checking DANGEROUS BEAUTY.  Entering the back straight LEGAL FANTASY and DANGEROUS BEAUTY collided.  In the home straight MOGWAI was wide.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 520m

ARIA was best to begin with CYNO GENERAL slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight ARIA checked off the heels of DON’T KNOCKA TOM causing ARIA to check CYNO GENERAL.  On the turn out of the home straight ARIA and HONEY MAREE collided.  In the back and home straights CYNO GENERAL was wide.

 

Race 3 – Novice 520m

CABARET TONIGHT was best to begin with JUST BE GUN slowly away.  Soon after the start DASH OF FAITH and KAY LEAVY collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight KAY LEAVY checked off the heels of REPTAR causing KAY LEAVY to fall.  In the back straight LOCHILIME and JUST SPIFFING collided causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide.  Entering the home straight JUST BE GUN and LOCHILIME collided causing LOCHILIME to race wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound KAY LEAVY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m

WINZAR was best to begin with SLEDGE HAMMER slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight on the 1st occasion MAGIC SPARKLE and WICKED QUEEN collided causing WICKED QUEEN to check SLEDGE HAMMER.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion SLEDGE HAMMER was wide.  On the turn out of the home straight MAGIC SPARKLE checked off the heels of SIR BLINK.  In the back straight WICKED QUEEN was wide.  Entering the top turn AUSSIE ALI dropped back for no apparent reason.  In the home straight GALWAY GALE was wide.

 

The greyhound AUSSIE ALI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.

 

Race 5 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m

ANGRY ALICE and SIVAMET were best to begin with DASHING JILLIE and DAD’S A LOONY slowly away.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion EL MAGICO and DASHING JILLIE collided.  Entering the top turn SIVAMET checked off the heels of ANGRY ALICE.  In the home straight EL MAGICO and IN THE PICTURE were wide.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

IMA COWBOY and ALPHA THESEUS were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight IMA COWBOY checked off the heels of ALPHA THESEUS causing ALPHA THESEUS to check off RHYTHMIC EARNER.  On the turn out of the home and back straights ALPHA THESEUS was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight MAXWELL RUMBLE checked off the heels of RHYTHMIC EARNER.  Entering the home straight RHYTHMIC EARNER and FEISTY FIE collided with ALPHA THESEUS wide.

 

The greyhound RHYTHMIC EARNER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Caused by an incident in the catching pen.

 

Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 520m

ANTI DENTITE was best to begin with RUM RAMBLER slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight BREMER checked off the heels of DARCY’S CURSE.  In the back straight RUM RAMBLER was wide.  In the home straight RUM RAMBLER was wide.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade 600m

Even start with WAR PICTURE slowly away.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion IRINKA SHANE and MISS GLENREAGH collided with MISS HUSSY wide.  In the back straight FAR FROM FEAR was wide.  In the home straight WAR PICTURE shifted out causing FAR FROM FEAR to check off its heels with WAR PICTURE racing wide approaching the winning post.

 

Race 9 - 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

BEAR FOR BREAKY was best to begin with QUEEN CLEO slowly away.  Soon after the start AGRO’S GUN and QUEEN CLEO collided.  On the turn out of the home straight CLASSY BARCY was wide.  In the back straight RHYTHMIC CRUISER and CLASSY BARCY were wide.  In the home straight RHYTHMIC CRUISER and CLASSY BARCY were wide.

 

The greyhound QUEEN CLEO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 - 5th Grade Heat 3 520m

Even start.  Soon after the start TARKS BLACK ROSE and HAY YOU BOY collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight HAY YOU BOY checked off the heels of ALPHA MIMOS causing HAY YOU BOY to check CHEVALEIR NUIT.  On the turn out of the home straight TARKS BLACK ROSE and ALPHA MIMOS collided forcing TARKS BLACK ROSE wide on the turn.  In the back straight HAY YOU BOY and SIR TIGER OSTI collided with TARKS BLACK ROSE wide in the back straight.  On the top turn ALPHA MIMOS and TARKS BLACK ROSE was wide.  In the home straight TARKS BLACK ROSE was wide.

 

The greyhound TARKS BLACK ROSE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
