GENERAL

 

The greyhound CLASSY FLYER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.71 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

The greyhound BILLY ROSE HI performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.70.

 

The greyhound ERIC ROSE HI performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.26.

 

The greyhound RIVER ROSE HI performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.64.

 

The greyhound ASIA PACIFIC performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.52.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 395m

CORNELIA FLO was best to begin with HARA’S WHOSH and TEMPO JET slowly away.  Entering the back straight HARA’S WHOSH and TEMPO JET collided.  In the back straight BOOM WARRIOR was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight SIDE STEP GARY checked off the heels of VASELIUS causing SIDE STEP GARY to drop back checking HARA’S WHOSH and TALEYA.  In the home straight CORNELIA FLO was wide.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 395m

HARA’S HAWK was best to begin with CORY’S DIAMOND slowly away.  Entering the back straight MAGIC PASS checked off the heels of CORY’S DIAMOND causing MAGIC PASS to check ROADHOUSE GIRL, GLEN’S PRINCESS and MR. COLLISION.  On the top turn GLEBE KID and MR. COLLISION were wide.  In the home straight MR. COLLISION was wide.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Final 395m

FRENCH IDOL and THAIDAY NIGHT were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Entering the back straight HARA’S SMILE checked off the heels of BEST STRATEGY.  Entering the top turn JANIE GOTTA GUN checked off the heels of DEAD END.  Entering the home straight HARA’S SMILE turned its head outwards and marred BEST STRATEGY.  In the home straight HARA’S SMILE and BEST STRATEGY were wide.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Titmarsh that the greyhound HARA’S SMILE would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks.

 

Race 4 – Novice 395m

SOMERSET SUPREME was best to begin with EL MUFASA slowly away.  Entering the back straight EPSILON and WINGS OF PERLITA were racing tight and bumping.  In the back straight EL MUFASA was wide.  In the home straight EL MUFASA was wide.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade Heat 1 395m

Even start with TARMAC BLACK and TRAV’S MAGIC slowly away.  Entering the back straight MAGIC MOVER checked off the heels of CLASSY TOM causing MAGIC MOVER to check DAYSEAS DOLLY.  On the top turn LAKODA DAWN was wide.  Approaching the finishing line FEAWR THE RECALL and MARLO GOOD were racing tight and bumping.

 

The greyhound TARMAC BLACK was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 2 395m

TAYTO and CHADOR KAHN were best to begin with MIGHTY ALICE slowly away.  In the back straight ROYAL PRIZE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight URBAN STREET checked off the heels of TAYTO.  In the home straight REDDY RANGER was wide.

 

The greyhound URBAN STREET was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m

Even start.  Entering the back straight GLENOIT and AZARIAH collided.  In the back straight GLENOIT was wide.  Entering the home straight EVIE’S ANGEL was wide.  Approaching the winning post GLENOIT and ANGELIC MISS were racing tight and bumping.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 395m

ZABALETA and WAZZA KING were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start FASHION ADVICE and MODERN MISS collided.  In the back straight FASHION ADVICE checked off the heels of STRONG STANLEY with DAYSEAS ASTRA wide.  Entering the home straight WAZZA KING checked off the heels of ZABALETA.  In the home straight DAYSEAS ASTRA was wide.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 3 395m

THRILLA MOMENT was best to begin with KINGSBRAE REDFOO and SINUK slowly away.  Entering the back straight HOOROO OLLIE and KINGSBRAE REDFOO collided.  In the back straights STANDOUT was wide.  In the home straight SINUK was wide.

 

Race 10 - 5th Grade Heat 4 395m

ALBARTROSS was best to begin with MR. CODY slowly away.  Entering the back straight SHIVERANCE was checked off the heels of WAZZ’S FANTASY.  Halfway down the back straight ROCKING RAMPAGE drooped to the rear for no apparent reason.  In the home straight DAYSEAS RIGG was wide.

 

The greyhound ROCKING RAMPAGE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.
