Race 3 GALWAY BRONTE Injured in running, near side front toe, 28 days
Race 8 LAKODA DAWN Injured in running, back, 14 days
MAGIC ESCAPE was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn BRIGANTINE was checked off heels and lost ground. Through the 1st turn CELS BEAU shifted out and made contact with MR. SURRENDER resulting in MR. SURRENDER becoming unbalanced. HANNAH’S BELL and HAZY GAZE raced wide throughout.
Even start. Shortly after HANSON TRONNY was tightened for room and lost ground. Approaching the back turn COLLISIONATE improved onto the heels of the weakening DON’T LOCH NOW resulting in DON’T LOCH NOW losing significant ground. BACK TO BUSINESS which was following was also severely checked losing significant ground. Over the final stages BACK TO BUSINESS was checked off the heels of DON’T LOCH NOW. HANSON TRONNY raced wide for the majority.
The greyhound DON’T LOCH NOW was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound BACK TO BUSINESS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound COLLISIONATE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 2 331m
MAX WEDGE and EARLY SHIRLEY were best to begin. SOUTH BRIDGE was slowest. Shortly after SCOOT ON BYE was tightened for room and lost its position. Approaching the back turn SHEZ A SONG was checked off the heels of CASS’ CASS and lost ground. SCOOT ON BYE shifted out making heavy contact with GALWAY BRONTE resulting in that greyhound being severely checked and losing considerable ground. SOUTH BRIDGE raced wide for the majority.

greyhound GALWAY BRONTE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
side front toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
Race 4 – Maiden Final 331m
Even start. Shortly after HANSON TOM was checked off the heels of ROSCO BANG BANG and lost its position. Approaching the back turn FABULOUS GARY improved onto the heels of ROSCO BANG BANG and became inconvenienced and forced wider from that point. COSMIC REVENGE and LAKODA BUTTONS raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 5 – Novice 331m
SOMERSET SUPREME was best to begin. Shortly after GARDA BLUE was tightened for room and lost its position. Approaching the back turn IVORY improved onto the heels of SOMERSET SUPREME and lost ground. Into the back turn BONNIE VALE became unbalanced, Rounding the home turn BONNIE VALE raced extremely wide. GARDA BLUE which was racing to its outside was taken wider on the track.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 395m
Even start. Into the 1st turn there was general tightening between DISMANTLE, BULL TITAN, SOMETHIN’ FIZZY, ADAM’S ANGEL and MOZZARELLA. Rounding the home turn LEADFOOT JODY was hampered and lost ground. Over the concluding stages INNER WISDOM was checked off the heels of TAYTO. ADAM’S ANGEL raced wide throughout.
Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m
STRIKE A DEAL and HOLLYWOOD HEARTS were slow to begin. MR SNEAKY SNEAKY was best. Into the 1st turn MR SNEAKY SNEAKY shifted in tightening the running of INTILACH and SPANKY’S LEGEND, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. EVIE’S ANGEL and KINGSBRAE BUDDY which were racing to their outside were inconvenienced. Leaving the 1st turn STRIKE A DEAL was checked off the heels of SPANKY’S LEGEND. Approaching the back turn SPANKY’S LEGEND checked off the heels of EVIE’S ANGEL. Over the concluding stages KINGABRAE BUDDY checked off the heels of MR SNEAKY SNEAKY and lost ground. HOLLYWOOD HEARTS was wide throughout.
Race 8 – 2/3rd Grade 395m
BOGIE LILLY and KNOCK FOR ME were both slow to begin. Through the 1st turn BOGIE LILLY, LARA SAINT and FENRIR were all tightened for racing room. Approaching the back turn GEMMA DUAL was severely checked off the heels of BOGIE LILLY resulting in GEMMA DUAL losing significant ground. LAKODA DAWN and HOWARD HENO which were racing to the outside were also checked. Rounding the home turn LAKODA DAWN and GEMMA DUAL collided then over the concluding stages bumped several times. KNOCK FOR ME raced wide throughout.
The
greyhound LAKODA DAWN was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
Even start. Into the 1st turn MOCHA LATTE was checked off heels and lost its position. HOW MUCH which was following was inconvenienced. Leaving the 1st turn TITAN ASH was tightened for room and lost ground. Over the concluding stages MOCHA LATTE and HOW MUCH bumped several times along with REGATTA, TRACKIE CHAN and TITAN ASH all racing tight resulting in REGATTA and TRACKIE CHAN becoming unbalanced. TITAN ASH raced wide throughout.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
Even start. Shortly after MAURITIAN MAYHEM losing its position. Rounding the home turn EL MALAMUTE raced wide. JACK OSCAR raced wide for the majority.
Race 11 – 5th Grade 395m
NEEDY AND GREEDY and MARLO GOOD were both slow to begin. Into the 1st turn NEEDY AND GREEDY was checked across the heels of SAN DIEGO. Shortly after NEEDY AND GREEDY was checked from the heels of MARLO GOOD and lost ground.
Race 12 – 5th Grade Masters 395m
Even start. Shortly after CANE D’ORO, SIGN POST, SHRUB’S CRUSADER, SAND SNIPER and BLUE DEN all raced tight resulting in CANE D’ORO, SIGN POST and SAND SNIPER all losing ground. SAND SNIPER and DUNILLER raced wide for the majority.
