GENERAL

 

The greyhound KAHUNA WEST performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.91 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

 

The greyhound KIRI BELLE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.97 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

 

The greyhound ABELE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.67.

 

The greyhound MOET GIRL performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.84.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 520m

LIL’S ROSE and CYNO STEIN were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start LIL’S ROSE and HEALTH RETREAT collided.  On the turn out of the home straight HEALTH RETREAT checked off the heels of HANSON LOCKY.  In the back straight HANSON LOCKY was wide.  In the home straight LEIGH’S MIMSEAL was wide.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 520m

CAN OF SPRITE was best to begin with LET’S GO SNOW and HANSON ALPHA slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion LET’S GO SNOW checked off the heels of CAN OF SPRITE checking LEGAL FANTASY causing STIRLING BLUE to check off the heels of LEGAL FANTASY.  On the turn out of the home straight LEGAL FANTASY checked off the heels of LET’S GO SNOW.  Entering the back straight HONEY MAREE checked off the heels of LET’S GO SNOW forcing HONEY MAREE wide into the back straight.  In the home straight LEGAL FANTASY was wide.  Approaching the winning post CYNO GENERAL and STIRLING BLUE collided.

 

The greyhound LET’S GO SNOW was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound STIRLING BLUE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 520m

ROSABEL and GOTCHA RACIN’ were best to begin with FLYING CIRCUS slowly away.  Soon after the start AVID LAD and FLYING CIRCUS collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight UNIQUE RECALL checked off the heels of BROTHER GLENN causing UNIQUE RECALL to check FLYING CIRCUS and GLENALLON ZULU.  Entering the back straight AVID LAD and BROTHE GLENN collided.  In the back straight FLYING CIRCUS was wide.  Entering the top turn FLYING CIRCUS and GLENALLON ZULU collided.  In the home straight UNIQUE RECALL was wide.

 

The greyhound FLYING CIRCUS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m

WINZAR was best to begin with SUNNYSIDE JAY slowly away.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion SUNNYSIDE JAY and IN THE PICTURE collided.  In the home straight DAD’S A LOONY was wide.  On the turn out of the home straight CHEVALEIR NUIT and DOON GOES BOOM collided.  In the back straight SUNNYSIDE JAY was wide.  In the home straight SUNNYSIDE JAY and BY GOLLY MOLLY were wide.

 

Race 5 – Maiden Final 520m

OUR CHALLENGE and MASTER CORSAIR were best to begin with CHADOR KAHN and IRINKA SHANE slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion BOUNDING AFFAIR and STILL COUNTING collided.  Entering the back straight MASTER CORSAIR checked off the heels of SHYAN YAHOO causing MASTER CORSAIR to check CHADOR KAHN.  Entering the top turn STILL COUNTING checked off the heels of SEND A MESSAGE.  In the home straight CHADOR KAHN was wide.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 520m

SIVAMET and I’M ALL STRIPES were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion RIDES ON SCOOTER and HARA’S BLAZE collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight MAGICAL YESSAM checked off the heels of MERCEDES LASS.  Entering the back straight MAXWELL RUMBLE checked off the heels of RIDES ON SCOOTER.  In the home straight HARA’S BLAZE was wide.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 600m

ALPHA THESEUS was best to begin with GUNNA WINK slowly away.  Soon after the start NO CALLARATAH and ANOTHER HASSLER collided.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion COLD HARD TRUTH and NO CALLARATAH collided.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion ALPHA THESEUS was wide.  On the turn and back straight ALPAH THESEUS was wide.  Approaching the top turn NO CALLARATAH took no further competitive part in the event.  In the home straight ALPHA THESEUS was wide.

 

The greyhound NO CALLARATAH was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 600m

VEUVE and AZARIAH were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion RUM RAMBLER checked off the heels of CHEEKY FREYER.  Entering the turn out of the home straight KING ELLIOT checked off the heels of GLOBAL DEEJAY causing GLOBAL DEEJAY to check SLAYER RETURN.  Entering the back straight CHEEKY FREYER and KING ELLIOT collided.  In the home straight SLAYER RETURN and AZARIAH collided with RUM RAMBLER wide.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 3 520m

ROCKY BE GOOD and ALPAH MIMOS were best to begin with GEE MAA and LOCKET IN TEDDY slowly away.  Approaching the turn out of the home straight GOOD GIRL JANICE, RHYTHMIC CRUISER and GEE MAA all collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight TRULY UNIQUE and LOCKET IN TEDDY collided.  Entering the back straight TRULY UNIQUE and GEE MAA collided.  Entering the top turn GOOD GIRL JANICE checked off the heels of GEE MAA.  On the top turn out TRULY UNIQUE and GEE MAA collided.  In the home straight ALPHA MIMOS was wide.

 

The greyhound GEE MAA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 4 520m

MY SPRITE was best to begin with WHIRLY WAY and WHITE MARLIN slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight TOKYO SWIFT was wide.  In the back straight TOKYO SWIFT and WHITE MARLIN were wide.  Entering the top turn TOKYO SWIFT checked off the heels of WHITE MARLIN.  In the home straight LADY CORSAIR was wide.

 

The trainer Mr. P. Ruetschi stated he was disappointed with the performance of TOKYO SWIFT and the greyhound was entered for Thursday and he monitor the greyhound and will inform stewards of anything adverse with the greyhound.

 

The greyhound SNAKE GULLY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

The greyhound TOKYO SWIFT was vetted and found to be suffering no injuries.
