The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound HARA’S SMILE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.06 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks except Brisbane until after 15 December 2015.

 

The greyhound MUTTON performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 20.33.

 

The greyhound NATES FIRST performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 21.15.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 395m

Shortly after the start LA CHASE RAPIDE shifted in tightening SIDE STEP GARY in onto INTERACTION onto JANIE GOTTA GUN onto LOOPY LIZ resulting in all the greyhounds being tightened for racing room.  Shortly after ELLA’S LOLLIEPOP shifted in resulting in LA CHASE RAPIDE being checked back onto INTERACTION in turn onto LOOPY LIZ.  SIDE STEP GARY checked of REFUND REQUIRED and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  JANIE GOTTA GUN was tightened for racing room between INTERACTION and LOOPY LIZ.  SIDE STEP GARY checked across the heels of INTERACTION on the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound LOOPY LIZ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 395m

Even start.  BLISS BOMB and SHAYLOR PAUL bumped shortly after the start resulting in BLISS BOMB becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  HANSON TOM checked off WHAT A GUN and lost ground entering the back straight.  IZZY ELECTRIC checked off POPULAR BELIEF and lost ground entering the back straight.  BLISS BOMB checked off the heels of IZZY ELECTRIC on the turn out of the back straight.  MISTER DEBONAIR checked of the heels of WHAT A GUN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  HANSON TOM checked off IZZY ELECTRIC and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  IZZY ELECTRIC shifted wide and checked across the heels of WHAT A GUN prior to entering the front straight.  IZZY ELECTRIC raced wide into the front straight.  HANSON TOM shifted out to race wide in the front straight bumping IZZY ELECTRIC.

 

Race 3 – Novice 395m

Even start with CHERYL VALE marginally slow to begin.  FABULOUS ABBY and HANSON MURRAY bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in HANSON MURRAY losing ground.  THAIDAY NIGHT and CATWALK SHOW LEE raced wide in the back straight.  SHERYL VALE checked across the heels of ROYAL HOTEL on the turn out of the back straight.  ROYAL HOTEL checked across the heels of SHAYLOR NATHAN on the turn into the front straight.  HANSON MURRAY shifted out entering the front straight across the heels of CHERYL VALE.  SHAYLOR NATHAN and ROYAL HOTEL bumped on several occasions prior to the finish line.

 

Race 4 – Novice 395m

Even start with SPRING ONYX and HARA’S WALK slow to begin.  IVORY and SHAYLOR CLEDUS bumped on the turn into the back straight.  CHA CHA GEM checked across the heels of SHAYLOR CLEDUS and lost ground entering the back straight.  IVORY and SHAYLOR CLEDUS bumped in the front straight.  GARDA BLUE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound SPRING ONYX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – Maiden Final 395m

Even start with KIALLA slow to begin.  CORNELIA FLO shifted in on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to EXCITED HAWK, HARA’S BRACELET and ATOMIC ACE, all three greyhounds losing ground as result.  ATOMIC ACE was tightened for racing room entering the back straight and checked of the heels of HARA’S BRACELET, EXCITED HAWK suffered interference also as a result of this incident.  GLEBE KID raced wide on the turn into the back straight.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start.  KNAVE and INNER WISDOM were tightened for racing room and lost ground after the start. FLYING RAVEN and URBAN STREET bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SHAYLOR CHARLIE.  EPSILON checked off INNER WISDOM and lost ground entering the back straight.  Shortly after EPSILON raced onto the heels of INNER WISDOM resulting in INNER WISOM losing ground.  SHAYLOR CHARLIE checked of the heels REDDY RANGER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  URBAN STREET checked of ANGEL MOON and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  URBAN STREET and SHAYLOR CHARLIE bumped on the turn into the front straight.  KNAVE shifted in approaching the finish line bumping URBAN STREET onto SHAYLOR CHARLIE.  KNAVE raced wide in the back straight.

 

The greyhound INNER WISDOM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade 395m

DOUBLE STORM, STANDOUT and ADAM’S ANGEL were slow to begin.  DOUBLE STORM checked off OBIN TOMMY and lost ground entering the back straight.  DOUBLE STORM checked of the heels of TAYTO and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  VICTORY PRINCE and STANDOUT bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to ADAM’S ANGEL.  STANDOUT and ADAM’S ANGEL raced wide in the back straight.  DOUBLE STORM checked across the heels of TAYTO and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 395m

KINGSBRAE BUDDY was best to begin.  SWITCHIN’ SIDES was slow to begin.  SWITCHIN’ SIDES checked off DIAMOND OSPREY and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  BLUE STATUESQUE shifted out on the turn into the back straight causing some inconvenience to HARA’S SIZZLE and DIAMOND OSPREY.  BLUE STATUESQUE raced wide in the back straight.  FEAR THE RECALL checked off MISS ELEGANCE and lost ground in the back straight.  BLUE STATUESQUE raced wide in the front straight.  MISS ELEGANCE and TRAV’S MAGIC bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start with SANDY’S GIFT slow to begin.  HIGHLIFE checked off the heels of SHAYLOR BELLE and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to DAYSEAS COSMO and DEIJA MAGIC.  SANDY’S GIFT shifted out on the turn into the front straight resulting in interference to HIGHLIFE.  BRAE HEART and VAGUE MEMORIES bumped in the home straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start with RICOCHET ROSE slow to begin.  BELLA BEE was tightened for racing room between CALL ME AUSSIE and MAGIC BEAU resulting in BELLA BEE losing ground shortly after the start.  CALL ME AUSSIE shifted in approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to MAGIC BEAU.  CALL ME AUSSIE continued to shift in tightening CASEY UNDERCOVER onto VEE ROCKET in turn onto EL MALAMUTE resulting in VEE ROCKET losing ground back onto BELLA BEE.  CASEY UNDERCOVER checked off CALL ME AUSSIE and lost ground entering the back straight.  EL MALAMUTE checked off CALL ME AUSSIE and lost ground entering the back straight.  RICOCHET ROSE checked of the heels of MAGIC BEAU and lost ground in the back straight.  BELLA BEE checked of EL MALAMUTE and lost ground in the back straight.  VEE ROCKET and CASEY UNDERCOVER bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  BELLA BEE raced wide in the back straight.  BELLA BEE shifted out on the turn into the front straight resulting in interference to CASEY UNDERCOVER.  BELLA BEE raced wide in the front straight forcing CASEY UNDERCOVER to race wide.
