The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 395m

Even start with MR. COLLISION and ROMERO RAGTOP slow to begin.  SMOKE AND MIRROR was tightened for racing room approaching the 1st turn after the start resulting in SMOKE AND MIRROR becoming unbalanced and checking across the heels of BARTHOLOMEW.  BARTHOLOMEW suffered interference as a result of the incident.  BARTHOLOMEW checked off the heels of OUTBACK FLYER and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  SMOKE AND MIRROR checked off the heels of THOMAS ROSE HI and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  MOCHA CINI checked off the heels of STORM RAIDER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MR. COLLISION raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  MR. COLLISION raced wide into the front straight.

 

The greyhound BARTHOLOMEW was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 395m

COSMIC SIZE was best to begin.  TEE SNOW was slow to begin.  HECTOR THE GREAT was tightened for racing room on the 1st turn after the start resulting in HECTOR THE GREAT losing ground back onto SECRET SHAY ANNA who also lost ground.  LUCKY TALISMAN and TEE SNOW were also inconvenienced as a result of the incident.  COMFORT THE BULL and SECRET SHAY ANNA bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in COMFORT THE BULL becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  HECTOR THE GREAT and TEE SNOW bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight.  HECTOR THE GREAT and TEE SNOW bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in TEE SNOW becoming unbalanced.  LUCKY TALISMAN raced wide in the front straight.

 

The greyhound LUCKY TALISMAN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 395m

Even start with SHAYLOR HULA slow to begin.  POPULAR BELIEF checked off the heels of OUTBACK FANTASY and fell prior to entering the back straight.  SHAYLOR HULA checked off the heels of VAL ROSE HI and lost ground entering the back straight.  OUTBACK FANTASY checked off the heels of MOET GIRL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to SPARLING SHELL.  VAL ROSE HI checked off the heels of JUST A THURSDAY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SPARLING SHELL and OUTBACK FANTASY bumped heavily on the turn into the front straight resulting in OUTBACK FANTASY becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  SHAYLOR HULA raced wide in the back straight.

 

The greyhound POPULAR BELIEF was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – Maiden Final 395m

JANIE GOTTA GUN was best to begin.  KIALLA and LUCKY CATCH bumped as the start was effected resulting in LUCKY CATCH becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  ABELE checked off the heels of JEN ROSE HI and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  BUEY’S SHOUT checked off the heels of JANIE GOTTA GUN and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  JANIE GOTTA GUN checked off the heels of CAPTAIN THURSDAY and lost ground entering the back straight.  JANIE GOTTA GUN checked off the heels of SHAYLOR PAUL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to KIALLA.  LUCKY CATCH and SHAYLOR PAUL bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 5 – Novice 395m

Even start with BATTISTUZZI MISS marginally slow to begin.  SHAYLOR TOMMY checked off the heels of MOVIDA and lost some ground shortly after the start.  FABULOUS TRAV, BRIGANTINE, SUMMER’S RACER and MOVIDA all bumped on the 1st turn after the start, resulting in SUMMER’S RACER losing ground back onto SHAYLOR TOMMY.

 

Race 6 – Novice 395m

SIMPLY MAGIC was best to begin.  SIMPLY MAGIC crossed from a wide position tightening CORNELIA FLO onto FABULOUS ABBY, in onto LA MANCHA MAN, resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  SIMPLY MAGIC continued to shift in tightening FABULOUS HOPE onto SHAYLRO CLEDUS causing both those greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose ground on the 1st turn after the start.  Shortly after SIMPLY MAGIC also became unbalanced losing ground causing interference to PERFECT SISTER and LA MANCHA MAN.  FABULOUS ABBY and PERFECT SISTER bumped in the back straight.  CORNELIA FLO raced wide in the front straight.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade 395m

Even start with BAZZA’S ISSUE and MARLO GOOD marginally slow to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn after the start MINNIE’S HOPE checked off the heels of KOKOMO BEACH and lost ground back onto MAGICAL YESSAM.  Approaching the turn into the back straight BAZZA’S ISSUE raced onto the heels of MARLO GOOD, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  MAGICAL YESSAM checked across the heels of MARLO GOOD on the turn out of the back straight.  MINNIE’S HOPE checked across the heels of CALL ME AUSSIE and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  MAGICAL YESSAM, BAZZA’S ISSUE and EPSILON bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in BAZZA’S ISSUE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MARLO GOOD and MINNIE’S HOPE bumped in the front straight.  MALLOURY QUEEN raced wide in the front straight.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 395m

GLOBAL DEEJAY was best to begin.  IONA CHAMPION was tightened for racing room between TRAV’S MAGIC and MARINERS BEACH and lost some ground shortly after the start.  OUR MAGIC BOY crossed from a wide position on the 1st turn after the start tightening ALBARTOSS in onto GLOBAL DEEJAY in onto THRILLA MOMENT resulting in those 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  IONA CHAMPION checked off the heels of ALBARTROSS and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  GLOBAL DEEJAY checked off the heels of WALLY WHO CALLS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound ALBARTROSS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m

GOLD TOTAL was best to begin.  WAZZ’S FANTASY was slow to begin.  MELODY SERENADE was tightened for racing room and lost ground entering the back straight causing some inconvenience to ZULU PRINCESS.  ORE DE KAHN and WAZZ’S FANTASY bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in ORE DE KAHN becoming unbalanced, shifting out bumping PLUM JAM.  ZULU PRINCESS raced wide in the front straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

DIANNE’S PEARL was best to begin.  MR. REALITY was marginally slow to begin.  GENERATION IRON, GAGAN NANCY and TWO BEERS all bumped on the 1st turn after the start.  TWO BEERS checked off the heels of SHAYLOR BELLE and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  GENERATION IRON checked off the heels of GAGAN NANCY and lost ground entering the back straight.  GENERATION IRON and LADY CORSAIR bumped on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 11 - 5th Grade 395m

FABULOUS WALL was best to begin.  NINJA LLOYDIE and KINGSBRAE REDFOO were slow to begin.  INNER WISDOM and REDDY RANGER bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in REDDY RANGER losing ground.  NINJA LLOYDIE eased off the heels of BARCELLA prior to turning into the back straight.  REDDY RANGER checked across the heels of KINGSBRAE REDFOO and lost ground entering the back straight.  KINGSBRAE REDFOO checked off the hindquarters of INNER WISDOM and lost some ground in the back straight.  KINGSBRAE REDFOO checked off the heels of INNER WISDOM and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to BARCELLA.  INNER WISDOM raced wide in the back straight.  I’M A BLUE raced wide into the front straight.

 

Race 12 - 5th Grade 395m

FABULOUS GARY was best to begin.  IVORY and FABULOUS GARY bumped shortly after the start resulting in FABULOUS GARY becoming unbalanced and bumping MR. WOODS.  MASTER CORSAIR and ROYAL HOTEL were tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to the turn in the back straight.  MAGIC BEAU and CRAZY VIXON bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in MAGIC BEAU becoming unbalanced and losing ground causing interference to HARA’S BLAZE.  MASTER CORSAIR checked off the heels of ROYAL HOTEL in the back straight.  IVORY and MAGIC BEAU bumped heavily approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in IVORY losing ground back onto CRAZY VIXON.  FABULOUS GARY suffered inconvenience.  FABULOUS GARY and ROYAL HOTEL bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in FABULOUS GARY losing ground and checking across the heels of ROYAL HOTEL.

 

The greyhound IVORY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side chest and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
