GENERAL

 

The greyhound SPY QUEEN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.61 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 395m

BOXING ROO GIRL was best to begin.  SNOW BEAR was slow to begin.  LISA ROSE HI checked off the heels of MOET GIRL and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to ABELE.  LISA ROSE HI checked off the heels of ABELE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SNOW BEAR raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  SNOW BEAR raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 395m

ALL BECAUSE was best to begin.  SHAYLOR HULA was slow to begin.  HANNAH ALLEN was tightened for racing room and lost some ground shortly after the start.  GALWAY BRONTE checked off the heels of RAISE THE ALARM on the turn into the back straight resulting in GALWAY BRONTE losing ground and becoming unbalanced and causing interference to FEARLESS ROSE HI.  RAISE THE ALARM checked off the heels of ALL BECAUSE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to STORM RAIDER.  STORM RAIDER and SHAYLOR HULA bumped on the turn into the front straight.  SMOKE AND MIRROR checked off the heels of RAISE THE ALARM and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SHAYLOR HULA checked across the heels of SMOKE AND MIRROR prior to entering the front straight.  STORM RAIDER and SHAYLOR HULA raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound GALWAY BRONTE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Final 395m

ZARA MAGIC and DESPERADO BOY were best to begin.  LEGEND MATE was slow to begin.  CAZORLA checked off the heels of HECTOR THE GREAT and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  CAZORLA then shifted out and checked across the heels of ZABDON VUITTON.  JOHNNY MELODY checked across the heels of HECTOR THE GREAT entering the back straight.  JOHNNY MELODY raced wide in the back straight.  JOHNNY MELODY raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 4 – Novice 395m

Even start with MONOCEROS marginally slow to begin.  SHAKIRA BELLA, MR. SURRENDER and LA MANCHA MAN bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in LA MANCHA MAN becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  REPTAR checked off the heels of KIMAHRI RONSO and lost some ground prior to entering the back straight.  MONOCEROS was tightened for racing room entering the back straight resulting in MONOCEROS becoming unbalanced and checking across the heels of REPTAR causing that greyhound to lose ground.  LA MANCHA MAN also suffered some inconvenience.  KIMAHRI RONSO checked off the heels of CORY’S DIAMOND and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.  CORY’S DIAMOND raced wide in the front straight forcing LA MANCHA MAN to race wide.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 395m

The start of this race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate racing.

 

Even start.  RIKASSO LILLY was tightened for racing room and lost some ground shortly after the start.  I’M A BLUE checked off the heels of NIGHT TERROR and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  RIKASSO LILLY checked off the heels of ROYAL HOTEL and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  ROYAL HOTEL raced wide in the back straight.  NIGHT TERROR checked off the heels of FABULOUS HOPE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  I’M A BLUE and NIGHT TERROR bumped after turning out of the back straight resulting in NIGHT TERROR becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  ROYAL HOTEL and NIGHT TERROR bumped on the turn into the front straight.  RIKASSO LILLY raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 6 – 4th Grade 395m

Even start.  MANYARA MISS was tightened for racing room shortly after the start and checked across the heels of SIP OF SHIRAZ.  MISS ELEGANCE was tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight resulting in MISS ELEGANCE losing ground back onto FABRICATED who lost ground, became unbalanced bumping MANYARA MISS out onto DON’T GO QUIETLY.  FABRICATED checked off the heels of SIP OF SHIRAZ and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  SIP OF SHIRAZ checked off the heels of ANNIE BENZ and lost ground entering the back straight.  BLUE STATUESQUE raced wide in the back straight.  DON’T GO QUIETLY and ANNIE BENZ bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to ANNIE BENZ.  BLUE STATUESQUE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m

Even start.  WESTERN ROSE was tightened for racing room approaching the 1st turn after the start resulting in WESTERN ROSE bumping DIAMOND OSPREY in turn onto ARABIAN MELODY, resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  GOLD TOTAL checked off the heels of GEMMA DUAL and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to HOPE’S MAGIC.  GEMMA DUAL checked off the heels of ARABIAN MELODY and lost ground early in the back straight.  GEMMA DUAL checked off the heels of OBIN TOMMY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  OBIN TOMMY checked across the heels of FLYING RAVEN and lost some ground in the back straight.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 395m

Even start with FABULOUS GARY marginally slow to begin and FYRE GAL slow to begin.  TARA MARRIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  INDIANA RUMBLE checked off the heels of LITTLE RAMONA and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to THAIDAY NIGHT and HARA’S SAMUEL.  FABULOUS GARY checked off the heels of INDIANA RUMBLE and lost ground entering the back straight.  FABULOUS GARY checked off the heels of TARA MARRIE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  THAIDAY NIGHT and INDIANA RUMBLE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound FABULOUS GARY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m

MACARENA MISS was best to begin.  EPSILON was slow to begin.  FABULOUS WALL and LONG LONG LOGAN bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  EPSILON checked off the heels of SAVE US and lost ground in the back straight.  LONG LONG LOGAN and FABULOUS WALL raced wide in the back straight.  LONG LONG LOGAN and FABULOUS WALL bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight.  EPSILON and LONG LONG LOGAN raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

DAVID’S MEMORY was best to begin.  BRALYN BAUPLE was tightened for racing room on the 1st turn after the start resulting in BRALYN BAUPLE checking across the heels of HARA’S ANNIE and shifting out bumping SHE’S A FOX who fell as a result.  HARA’S ANNIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  BRALYN BAUPLE and HARA’S ANNIE bumped on the turn out of the back straight.  SHAYLOR BELLE was tightened for racing room between BRALYN BAUPLE and HARA’S ANNIE on the turn into the front straight resulting in SHAYLOR BELLE losing ground.  EL MALAMUTE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound SHE’S A FOX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
