The greyhound NATES FIRST performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 20.55.

 

The greyhound MUTTON performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.99.

 

The greyhound CLASSY SUSAN performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.19.

 

The greyhound KYLIEMALEE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.94.

 

Attendant Mr. J Hanley was fined $50 for Negligence in having the incorrect rug on SMOKE AND MIRROR Rule 86.

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 395m

The start of this race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate harness racing.

 

DESPERADO BOY was best to begin.  HANSON TOM shifted in from a wide position on the turn into the back straight tightening SHAYLOR HULA in onto FANCY THURSDAY, in onto MARINDA, resulting in all these greyhounds becoming unbalanced with SHAYLOR HULA and FANCY THURSDAY losing considerable ground.  STORM RAIDER suffered some inconvenience as a result.  SHAYLOR HULA raced wide in the back straight.  FANCY THURSDAY bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in MARINDA losing ground.  SHAYLOR HULA raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MARINDA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 395m

SPARLING SHELL was best to begin.  GRAND DASH was marginally slow to begin.  DOUBLE DECKER was slow to begin.  HECTOR THE GREAT checked off the heels of JUST A THURSDAY and lost ground shortly after the start.  HECTOR THE GREAT and GRAND DASH bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  JUST A THURSDAY checked off the heels of JUDICIAL MAN and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  GRAND DASH checked off the hindquarters of LEGEND MATE prior to entering the back straight, resulting in LEGEND MATE losing ground and GRAND DASH becoming unbalanced losing ground checking across the heels of DOUBLE DECKER.  DOUBLE DECKER and LEGEND MATE bumped on several occasions in the back straight.  JOHNNY MELODY and SPARLING SHELL bumped entering the back straight resulting in SPARLING SHELL losing ground.  GRAND DASH and LEGEND MATE bumped heavily on the turn out of the back straight resulting in LEGEND MATE falling and causing GRAND DASH to lose considerable ground.  HECTOR THE GREAT raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound GRAND DASH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound LEGEND MATE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Final 395m

BOXING ROO GIRL was best to begin.  ALL BECAUSE, SHAYLOR SKEETER and ABELE all bumped shortly after the start resulting in the 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced losing considerable ground causing interference to HARA’S BRACELET and HANNAH ALLEN.  ALL BECAUSE checked across the heels of MOET GIRL on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SHAYLOR SKEETER.  ALL BECAUSE and SHAYLOR SKEETER raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 4 – Novice 395m

Even start.  General tightening occurred on the turn into the back straight resulting in BACK TO BUSINESS, AT THE NECK, JEN ROSE HI, JACKPOT’S GIRL, FABULOUS ABBY and REPTAR all being severely checked and losing considerable ground.  JACKPOT’S GIRL checked off the heels of FABULOUS ABBY and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  FABULOUS ABBY and JEN ROSE HI bumped on the turn into the home straight.  JACKPOT’S GIRL raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 5 – Novice 395m

COSMIC SIZE was best to begin.  AZTEC FLASH was slow to begin.  FABULOUS TRAV crossed from a wide position on the turn into the back straight causing interference to MR. SURRENDER and FLASHMAN SAM.  FLASHMAN SAM raced wide in the back straight.  BLACK BOMBER checked off the heels of STEALTH FIGHTER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  BLACK BOMBER checked off the heels of FLASHMAN SAM, became unbalanced losing ground on the turn into the home straight.  MR. SURRENDER checked across the heels of BLACK BOMBER on the turn into the home straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  AZTEC FLASH shifted out in the home straight bumping COSMIC SIZE causing COSMIC SIZE to become unbalance and lose ground.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 1 395m

Even start.  FABULOUS WALL was slow into stride and then checked off the heels of MIRANDA ROSE HI and lost some ground approaching the 1st turn after the start.  BOB THE PAPERBOY and NEEDY AND GREEDY bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in NEEDY AND GREEDY losing ground and BOB THE PAPERBOY losing considerable ground back onto FABULOUS WALL and causing interference to VEE ROCKET, HARA’S BLAZE and URBAN STREET.  URBAN STREET raced wide in the back straight.  BOB THE PAPERBOY checked off the heels of FABULOUS WALL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing some inconvenience to URBAN STREET.  VEE ROCKET raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  MIRANDA ROSE HI raced wide in the home straight.  URBAN STREET raced wide in the front straight bumping VEE ROCKET who also raced wide.

 

The greyhound BOB THE PAPERBOY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 2 395m

Even start with SHAYLOR CLEDUS and CARDIAC KING slow to begin.  SAVE US and BOGIE RAIDER bumped shortly after the start resulting in BOGIE RAIDER becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  CARDIAC KING and SHAYLOR CLEDUS bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in SHAYLOR CLEDUS losing ground and bumping BOGIE RAIDER who lost ground as a result.  SAVE US checked off the heels of THAIDAY NIGHT in the back straight and lost ground.  THAIDAY NIGHT checked off the hindquarters of MISS MULLIGAN in the back straight resulting in interference to CARDIAC KING.  THAIDAY NIGHT checked off the heels of SAVE US and lost ground in the back straight.  SHAYLOR CLEDUS checked across the heels of FABULOUS GARY on the turn out of the back straight.  THAIDAY NIGHT raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound CARDIAC KING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MISS MULLIGAN was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

The greyhound HARA’S ANNIE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 395m

MR. SLY was best to begin with BLACK PARADOX slow to begin.  WESTERN ROSE knuckled over as the start was effected and lost ground.  FLYING RAVEN bumped GOLD TOTAL on the 1st turn after the start resulting in GOLD TOTAL becoming unbalanced and shifting in bumping MONIKA BELLA in onto MR. SLY.  MONIKA BELLA became unbalanced and shifted out checking across the heels of FLYING RAVEN, resulting in MONIKA BELLA losing considerable ground.  MONIKA BELLA checked across the heels of MISS ELEGANCE and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  FLYING RAVEN and GOLD TOTAL bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in FLYING RAVEN losing considerable ground.  MONIKA BELLA improved onto the heels of MR. SLY on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.  MONIKA BELLA raced wide in the home straight.  Prior to entering the home straight MR. SLY has contacted the running rail.

 

The greyhound MONIKA BELLA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BLACK PARADOX was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 3 395m

Even start with MARLO GOOD slow to begin.  SHAYLOR CHARLIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  MAGIC BEAU checked off the heels of MR. MARAUDER approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in MAGIC BEAU losing ground and causing interference to HER STORY and some inconvenience to SHOTOTSU.  HER STORY was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  MR. MARAUDER and MAGIC BEAU bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight.  MR. MARAUDER checked off the heels of MAGIC BEAU and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  FABULOUS HOPE and SHAYLOR CHARLIE bumped on the turn into the home straight.  SHOTOTSU was forced to race wide in the back straight and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

 

Race 10 - 5th Grade Heat 4 395m

MISS RUCKUS was best to begin.  HARA’S SIZZLE and IVORY KING bumped on the 1st turn after the start.  SHAYLOR BECKY and CALL ME AUSSIE bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in SHAYLOR BECKY losing ground.  BELLA BEE raced very wide into the back straight and continued down the back straight.  SHAYLOR BECKY raced wide in the back straight.  MISS RUCKUS and CALL ME AUSSIE bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  SHAYLOR BECKY and BELLA BEE raced wide in the home straight.
