Race 2 - LADBROKES SAME RACE MULTI GRADE 6 (1) 331m

10 Black Eye – Took several awkward strides and began to weaken rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 4 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 6 (3) 331m

5 Sirius Charlie – Checked off heels shortly after the start. Raced wide rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Race 5 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (1) 331m

3 Don’t Speak – Visibly shortened stride approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Darryl McGrath regarding the greyhound’s racing actions approaching the finishing line. After reviewing the race footage and considering Mr McGrath’s submissions, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR129 requested that Don’t Speak has to pass a satisfactory trial prior to any future nomination being accepted.

Race 10 - ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5PW 331m

Race 11 – ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MA5 (1) 331m

2 Chainsaw Ricky – Took several awkward strides and raced wide rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside quadriceps and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

3 Edgar Cloggs – Checked off heels and raced awkwardly rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hock and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. The greyhound must trial prior to any future nomination being accepted. Trainer Chloe Muller advised Stewards that it was her intention to retire Edgar Cloggs after tonight’s race.

8 Ascierto – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.
