1 Was Your Boodie – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked. Through the turn out of the back straight ran wide and appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. |

8 Pretty In Pink – Through the turn out of the back straight took its attention away from the lure and turned its head outwards to the outside runner. Through the home straight turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with the outside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin and nearside fibula. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer G Paul regarding the greyhounds actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s invoked GAR123 Marring – First Offence, 28 day stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
