A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hamstring. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days. |

8 Class Of Twenty – Late scratching at 3:33pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury to the offside hindleg during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

8 Mighty Wish – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a split webbing to the nearside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 21 days. |

Stewards spoke to trainer D Lee regarding the greyhounds’ actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR124 – Failing to Pursue – 1st Offence, 28 days stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
