Race 2 - ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN (2) 331m

1 Hassan – Through the turn out of the back straight was checked and ran wide. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside blade. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 3 - ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 331m

2 Do The Maths – Through the turn out of the back straight was checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside back muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 4 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 6 (1) 331m

3 Candy Smash – Through the turn out of the back straight was dragged down and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside back muscle and offside pin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

4 My Bella Scotch – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 5 -GORSKI ENGINEERING GRADE 6 (2) 331m  

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 - QLDGREYS.COM GRADE 5 (1) 331m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 7 - SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 331m

4 Hot Tyson – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the nearside foreleg. No stand down time was given.

5 Galloping Black – Through the home straight turned its head and made muzzle contact with the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer D Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR123 Marring – Third Offence – 3 months stand down from racing and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to returning to racing.

Race 8 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 331m

3 Polly’s Cracker – Through the turn out of the back straight was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

5 Tommy Trouble – Through the turn out of the back straight was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

7 Sticky Invite – Through the turn out of the back straight was dragged down and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg webbing. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.
