The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

460m all tracks

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 460m Heat 1

First away was EL KESHA. JUMP DA GUN, EL KIMBA and PRINCE RASCAL were all tight racing into the first corner. PRINCE RASCAL was squeezed out as a result and EL KIMBA was shuffled back to last. Down the back straight STIRLING BLUE ran onto the back of EL KESHA on a number of occasions. EL KESHA ran wide at the home corner. EL KIMBA ran wide at the home corner and down the home straight.

ONYA BLUE was vetted and found to have hurt its hip support 14 days.

Race 2 – Maiden 460m Maiden Heat 2

BLACK AKKA was first away, MERLINS GRACE was last. BLACK AKKA and MITCHELL BENZ raced tight at the first corner with BLACK AKKA receiving a check. MAXIMUS AURELIUS and BLACK AKKA raced tight down the back straight. MITCHELL BENZ raced wide. MISS BANG BANG was well clear by the back corner. BLACK AKKKA and MITCHELL BENZ bumped down the home straight.

MAXIMUS AURELIUS was vetted and found to have no injury.

Race 3 – Novice 460m

An even start. ALL ABOUT HOPE, TOTTENHAM TERROR and PENNIES FANTASY raced tight after the jump and into the first corner, with TOTTENHAM TERROR getting checked. MISS MITANNI raced wide down the back straight. ALL ABOUT HOPE raced wide past the 720m boxes. PENNIES FANTASY raced wide down the home straight.

Race 4 – 5^th Grade 460m

An even start. The entire field raced tight into the first corner. BLUE OPINION and BEST BAR NONE checked at the first corner and LOOKING AMAZING slipped. HES OUR MAN was racing wide past the catching pen and began to drop out of the race shortly after. CAMBLA LOVER went wide at the home corner and down the home straight.

HES OUR MAN was vetted and found to have a back muscle tear 10 days.

Race 5 – 5^th Grade 460m

First away was ALPHA NYX, last out was TOPPER WEBB. LICKETY SPLIT and GUNNER MAGIC raced tight after the jump. HARAS SAMUEL raced wide past the catching pen. WILBY SWEET raced wide down the home straight. ALPHA NYX was also wide down the home straight then veered inwards and marred GUNNER MAGIC, and was consequently charged for marring 28 days penalty.

Race 6 – Bundaberg Cup Final 550m

First out was ALARM BELLS, last away was EL MUFASA. After the jump TEXAS TEE was tightened for room and checked back to the rear. EL MUFASA went wide at the first corner, also ALARM BELLS checked out onto ULTRA BLUE. Running past the catching pen BOBBY BACON stumbled slightly. EL MUFASA stayed wide down the home straight and for the remainder of the race. ULTRA BLUE also ran wide down the home straight.

Race 7 – 4/5^th Grade 550m

First away was MERLINS SPIRIT, last out was GREYSTROKE BOY. GREYSTROKE BOY was tightened for running room half way down the straight. At the first corner HES A HUNTER came out onto MONSIEUR CAMBLA pushing it wide where it continued to race for the remainder of the race. At the home corner TAYLA SHOT ran onto the back of MERLINS SPIRIT as it tried to pass it.

Race 8 – 3/4^TH Grade 460m

First away was EKS DREAM, last out was TAIL IT UP. WILBY MIGHTY was tightened for room at the first corner and went wide bumping BELLA BOO BOO. TEJAYS GRAND raced wide from the back straight onwards, until it fell approaching the home corner. AGENT JAY raced wide down the home straight.

TEJAYS GRAND was vetted and found to have no injury.
