The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 1 akuma princess
Race 2 ledaro cagney Injured in running, off side hock, humanely euthanised
Race 7 cambla lover Injured in running, near side shoulder, 10 days
Even start and field was clear immediately after the jump, just before the first turn akuma treble checked nasri and sweet dimple who stumbled and caused both dogs to run wide. Clear past the catching pen, down the back straight and for remainder of the race akuma treble stayed wide and dropped back slightly, clear past home corner, at the 550m boxes gracies princess ran wide and stayed out wide down the finish straight. After the race akuma treble was sent to the vet and no injuries were found.
Nanny char char won the start & jett style jumped last, clear after the jump and turn 1 with jett style & ledaro cagney running wide past the catching pen. Clear down the back straight but by the Mobil corner ledaro cagney was starting to lose ground. Nothing wide around 550m corner or the finish straight, at the conclusion of the race ledaro cagney was vetted and found a broken hock and humanely euthanised.

3 – 5th Grade 460m
Field jumped evenly and clear after the jump, thru the first turn field tightened and spring planet checked off of summah’s knight forcing field wide. Clear at all other points of reference and nothing sent to vet at conclusion of race.

4 – Oaks Heat 1 550m
Clear and even jump clear after the start and past the 460m boxes, around turn 1 all about hope & long long train checked lightly and both ran wide. Clear along the back straight, around the home turn dainty lass and all about hope were wide and stayed out wide down the straight.

5 –Oaks Heat 2 550m
Even start and clear along the straight and 460m boxes, around turn 1 ultra blue and Zara girl were tight and ran wide but had regained themselves by the catching pens. After the catching pen Chelsey vale appeared to slow and dropped back thru the field, down the finish straight koukla moo & call ya back were out very wide. After the race Chelsey vale was sent to the vet and sustained a wrist injury and given 10 days.

6 –Derby Heat 1 550m
Race 6 was declared a no race, Express Leo fell on turn one, the dog then proceeded to turn around and run back up the finish straight and took off in front of the lure and the other dogs and impeded the running of topper Webb who was leading the race at the time. As this was a heat of the Bundaberg Derby the stewards declared topper Webb and tail it up as starters in the final under rule 57(2) The trainer of run riot withdrew his dog from the draw with no penalty, leaving our challenger and Bogart blend as the remaining two starters with express Leo being disqualified under rule 57(3)

7 – Derby Heat 2 550m
Even start clear after the jump, past the 460m boxes spring firechief held the lead thru turn 1 bogies a star and Mr. Bang bang were tight. Around the catching pen and into the back straight bogies a star was high on the track and into the back straight Cambla Lover dropped off the field and slowed dramatically, the field was single file thru the back straight and around home turn, nothing ran wide After the race cambla lover was vetted and found to have a shoulder injury and given 10 days.

Even jump but looking amazing missed the start, clear after the jump. Around turn 1 the field tightened, chariot’s offiah was high on the track thru turn 1 and catching pen bend. At the Mobil turn merlin’s sprint and wilby dusty were tight and wilby dusty lost a little ground, clear past the 550m boxes and finish straight, nothing vetted at conclusion of race.
