The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 460m

 First away was WALLOON LEGEND.  Last out was FAST AND SERIOUS. LOWANNA and PANDALLI raced tight coming into the first corner.  GALWAY THUNDER raced wide past the catching pen.  Down the back straight LOWANNA checked off the back of MINI NOVA.WALLOON WIZARD and LOWANNA went wide at the home corner and down the home straight.

 

Race 2 – Novice 460m

An even start.  At the first corner MR COLLISION was tightened for room and ran onto the back of STIRLING BLUE.  Running past the catching pen, WOTTA VISION checked off the back of JETT CLASS and also bumped THURRUNGO.  GENERAL CHAD and THURRUNGO raced tight through the back corner.  MR COLLISION raced wide through the home corner.

 

Race 3 – Novice 460m

First away was BOGIE NIGHTS.  Last out was FAST CODY.  At the first corner BLUE JOY was tightened for room, GO HOADY and LOKODA BUTTONS come together and both greyhounds lost ground.  Down the back straight LOKODA BUTTONS run onto the back of BLUE JOY on two occasions.  SUMMERS RACER went wide at the home corner and down the home straight.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 460m

First away was JUMP DA GUN.  Last out was RADLEYS JACKPOT. MINNIES HOPE and MADE TO DANCE raced tight approaching the first corner, then OUR CHALLENGE ran up the back of MADE TO DANCE almost causing it to fall, with both greyhounds losing ground.  JUMP DA GUN raced wide past the catching pen.  MINNIES HOPE and SPRING PLANET both went wide at the home turn.

 

Race 5 – 3/4th Grade 460m

First away was MALLOURY  QUEEN.  Last out was HAVOC AND MAYHEM.  MR CODY and HAVOC AND MAYHEM raced tight approaching the first corner with MR CODY getting checked heavily into BEST BAR NONE with both greyhounds out the back early.  The field was well spread by the back corner.  ALL ABOUT HOPE went wide down the home straight.

 

Race 6 – Open 550m

First away was EL GALO GIRL and was never headed thereafter.  Shortly after the jump, TAIL IT UP tripped at the back of BELLA BOO BOO and fell on its face losing any hope in the race.  At the first corner  ULTRA BLUE tripped EXPRESS LEO causing it to fall and for SPRING FIRECHIEF to run over it. EL GALO GIRL was well clear by the back straight.

 

EXPRESS LEO and TAIL IT UP were both vetted at the completion of the race.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade 460m

First out was MR REALITY. Last out was WALLOON SMARTIE. HARAS WENDY and  AURITIAN MAYHEM raced tight into the first corner and checked, and also checked AYE SIMPLE MANNA as well.  ROMANA PRINCESS raced wide past the catching pen.  SOBER MAGGIE checked off the back of MAURITIAN MAYHEM racing down the back straight.  The field was well spread out by the back corner.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade 460m

First away was FAST AS FLOYD. Last out was ANNIE ELLEN.  AYE SIMPLE MYTH, BELLA SPRITE and MUMMAS HOPE raced tight into the first corner, with MUMMAS HOPE forced wide.  Just after the first corner AYE SIMPLE MYTH checked off the back of ANNIE ALLEN then fell back onto BELLA SPRITE.  FAST AS FLOYD raced wide through the back corner.  ANNIE ALLEN and LEADFOOT JODY raced wide at the home corner and down the home straight.
