The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 410m

WALLEN JOE was best to begin.  BENNY BROOK was slowly away.  Through the 1st turn HOT BUBBLES shifted in checking the running of WALLEN JOE which lost ground. Soon after BAILINATOR and WALLEN JOE came together heavily.  WALLEN JOE lost further ground as a result.  TEAM TOKALON raced wide through the back straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 410m

FLINTSTONE KID was best to begin.  Shortly after the start MR. REX shifted in severely checking the running of BARNIE BOUCHEAU which lost significant ground.  Through the 1st turn COSMIC LAMP shifted out checking the running of WILDASH WHISPER which lost ground.  BARNIE BOUCHEAU raced wide through the back straight.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 410m

ETOPIA and CASH QUEEN both began well.  Through the 1st turn TITO, MISS GRAND THEFT and ZIPPING CARLTON all lost ground when tightened for running between PURE BEKIM and WILDASH PLUMBOB both of which were shifting ground.  General tightening through the top turn resulted in ETOPIA, CASH QUEEN, TITO, PURE BEKIM, ZIPPING CARLTON and WILDASH PLUMBOB all suffering severe interference.  As a result of this incident ZIPPING CARLTON and WILDASH PLUMBOB both fell and took no further competitive part in the event.  PURE BEKIM and CASH QUEEN were both wide at the home turn.

 

The greyhound ZIPPING CARLTON was vetted and no abnormalities were revealed.

 

The greyhound WILDASH PLUMBOB was vetted and no abnormalities were revealed.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 410m

ELLY NORA was best to begin.  Through the first turn FEAR NO HURDLE shifted in inconveniencing the running of EYE ZA FRED. MY FIRST NINJA raced wide through the back straight.

 

Race 5 – 4th Grade 410m

WILDASH MONTE and MISS KRYPTONITE both began well.  Shortly after the start BENEDICT GEOFF lost ground when tightened between runners.  Approaching the 1st turn MARIA DE CEE shifted in checking the running of WILDASH MONTE.  Through the top turn BOLD DEBREE was severely checked when tightened for running between BENEDICT GEOFF and MISS KRYPTONITE.  MISS KRYPTONITE raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 544m

CAWBOURNE HAZARD was best to begin.  RICHTER SCALE and CHECK THE WING both dwelt at the start.  KNOCK THE TOP and SELFIE came together soon after the start.  Through the 1st turn SELFIE shifted out abruptly across the heels of RAILROAD ROCKET onto the running of RICHTER SCALE and CHECK THE WING.  SELFIE, RICHTER SCALE and CHECK THE WING all raced wide and lost ground as a result.

 

Race 7 – 1/2nd Grade 410m

SHAKE YOU BOOTY and FEARS THE WORD both began well.  TICKFORD dwelt at the start.
