VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS

 

The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

 

Race 2             WESTOVER

Race 3             HUBRISTIC                          Injured in running, cramping, 20 days

 

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 410m

WILDASH DIDDY was the best to begin.  WILDASH FRED and LUSIMA were tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  LUSIMA checked across the heels of WILDASH FRED to race wide in the home straight.

 

Race 2 – 5th Grade 410m

WESTOVER was the best to begin.  COSMIC LAMP checked off TITO and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  TOKALON HOTSHOT checked off TITO and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  MAGIC CHAOS checked off TITO and lost ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to TOKALON HOTSHOT.  COSMIC LAMP shifted out across the heels of CASH QUEEN to race wide into the home straight.  COSMIC LAMP continued wide in the home straight.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 410m

BELLA MARLO was the best to begin.  TONI QUITE was slow to being.  HUBRISTIC knuckled as the start was effected dropping out and failing to finish the race.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed cramping.  TEAM TOKALON checked off BELLA MARLO and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  CALL ME CHARLES checked off the hind quarters of BELLA MARLO entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.  CALL ME CHARLES checked off ZAYRAH and lost ground in the back straight.

 

Race 4 – 4th Grade 410m

BLUEFIRE CHALICE was the best to begin.  SNEAKIN’ ROUND was slow to begin.  EARLY SHOW checked off BLUEFIRE CHALICE and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  EUNICE LILLIAN checked off BLUEFIRE CHALICE and lost considerable ground entering the back straight.

 

Race 5 – Best 8 410m

MALIAN REIGH was the best to begin.  SNAKE PROOF was tightened for racing room and lost considerable ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to SELFIE and FOUR PAWZA POWER.  SHAKE YOUR BOOTY and FEARS THE WORD bumped entering the front straight.

 

General

The opening of an inquiry into a complaint lodged by trainer E. Bryant on 15 November 2015 against Trainer P. Milani was further adjourned at the request of P. Milani to 29 November 2015.
