The greyhound ELEAZAR performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 366m in a time of 20.43 and is cleared to race at Capalaba only.
The greyhound SCORPION QUEEN performed satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 366m in a time of 20.00 and is cleared to race at Capalaba only.
SNOWBALL MARG was best to begin.
Even start. Shortly after the start DUCAL DAZZLE, MONKEY’S UNCLE and RED HOT ASSET all raced tight and became unbalanced. HAWTHORN BUDDY was also inconvenienced as a result and lost ground.
Race 3 – Novice
366m
DAYSEAS COSMO was best to begin with TREBLIG BRAD slow. Passing the 100m mark TRU BLU DASH and SIR TIGER OSTI collided. Passing the 200m ANNIE BENZ shifted in off the heels of BOURBON DUK and became unbalanced.
Race 4 – Novice
366m
EL MUFASA was best to begin with LOCH BEN slow. Shortly after the start WALK FREE and KNOCKA’S ASSET came together. Not long after KNOCKA’S ASSET shifted out hampering WALK FREE and LOCH BEN. Passing the 100m FEARSOME appeared to sustain an injury and lost ground. At the same time EL MUFASA and OUR ISLAND HOME raced tight and unbalanced. Passing the 300m OUR ISLAND HOME shifted in off the heels of EL MUFASA. EL MUFASA then proceeded to shift out and raced tight and unbalanced with KNOCKA’S ASSET.
The
greyhound EL MUFASA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was not give any stand down period.
The
greyhound FEARSOME was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade 366m
Even start. Shortly after the start JANDINELLE shifted in hampering PEARLS ANGEL. Shortly after MISS HALLIUS and READY TO RULE raced tight and unbalanced. Approaching the 100m mark ZARFONIC’S LADY shifted in checking PEARLS ANGEL. Shortly after NAT’S ANGEL shifted out hampering MISS HALLIUS. At the 200m PEARLS ANGEL and ZAFONIC’S LADY came together. Over the concluding stages NAT’S ANGEL appeared to sustain an injury and lost significant ground.
The
greyhound NAT’S ANGEL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near fore tendon and was stood down for a period of 14
days.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 366m
Even start. Shortly after the start HARA’S SAMMY shifted in tightening MARLIN SLAYER. Not long after GREYSTOKE BOY, ANTI DENTITE, IT’S ALL FUN and SNOWBALL BOB all raced tight and bumped. Approaching the 300m SNOWBALL BOB shifted in off the heels of ANTI DENTITE. Approaching the winning post HARA’S SAMMY and MARLIN SLAYER raced tight and bumped.

7 – 5th Grade 366m
TEXAS TEE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start VALIANT CRUSADER, MAGIC KITCHEN and TEXAS TEE were tightened between ROCK ON ROLLA and MR SNEAKY SNEAKY. Passing the 200m MR SNEAKY SNEAKY shifted in off the heels of NICOLSON and collided heavily with MAGIC KITCHEN. Shortly after, ZOE KNOWS shifted in hampering VALIANT CRUSADER.

8 – 4/5th Grade 366m
WORK OF ART was slow to begin. Passing the 200m ALOTA TALK shifted out off the heels of GEORGE DELAKER and checked HARD TO MATCH. Over the concluding stages HARD TO MATCH shifted in checking MISS CHARM. Shortly after, HARD TO MATCH, BLOO FRANKIE and ALOTA TALK raced tight and unbalanced.
