The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 1             SCOOT ON BYE                   Injured in running, back, 10 days

 

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 366m

Even start.  SCOOT ON BYE was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start PANTS PIRATE shifted out.  Near the 200m LEADFOOT EXPRESS shifted in.  SCOOT ON BYE gave ground over the final 70m.

 

The greyhound SCOOT ON BYE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 366m

Even start.  Shortly after the start SIDE STEP GARY shifted in and continued to shift in for the majority of the race.  Near the 200m AWESOME WILLS was checked as a consequence.  At the 100m CHOPPER NORRIS was hampered.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 366m

Even start.  Shortly after the start GAGAN NANCY shifted out which hampered CELESTIAL SELENE.  Not long after the start MAGIC ANGEL shifted in and bumped GAGAN NANCY near the 200m.  Shortly after GAGAN NANCY shifted out.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 366m

Even start.  Passing the 200m BETTER THAN THIS shifted in.  Shortly after ELUSIVE STRIKE shifted out which hampered MAXWELL RUMBLE.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 366m

Even start.  Shortly after the start GUNNER MAGIC shifted out which caused FIRE ALONG to shift into the running line of COSMIC HANIFY.  Passing the 250m COSMIC HANIFY shifted in causing GALWAY SUPERSTAR’s run to be hampered.

 

Race 6 – 4th Grade 366m

Even start.  GEORGINA shifted in shortly after the start.  WILD ELITE shifted in over the final 50m.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Final 366m

Even start.  Shortly after the start OUT WEST was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Through the 1st 100m TASER SHOCK shifted out which resulted in FAMECHON being hampered.  Near the 200m TASER SHOCK shifted out and came in contact with SMART HORNET, causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.  Shortly after SMART HORNET shifted in and came into contact with FAMECHON, which in turn shifted in and made heavy contact with MAGIC KITCHEN causing both FAMECHON and MAGIC KITCHEN to be checked and lose ground.
