6. Aston Athol – Shortly after the start was taken down the track by the outside runner. At approximately the 100 metres was checked. Approaching the winning post visibly eased. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Neville Tonks regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
