The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 8 SLICK HEIDI Injured in running, off hind leg, 14 days
DAVID’S MEMORY and RYLI’S CAM bumped shortly after the start. RYLI’S CAM, SWITCH BLADE and WATTA GENIUS bumped on the turn after the start, resulting in interference to FOCUS ME. CLASSY BAMQUIN checked off the heels of SPRITELY LIL on the turn into the back straight. SWITCH BLADE raced onto the heels of RYLI’S CAM prior to turning out of the back straight and fell, resulting in RYLI’S CAM losing considerable ground. FOCUS ME also suffered interference. WATTA GENIUS also lost ground as a result of the incident.
The greyhound SWITCH BLADE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
HAWTHORN BUDDY was slow to begin. GOLD PLATED raced wide on the turn into the back straight. MEADOW COURT checked off the heels of CULPER SPY entering the back straight, then raced wide causing some inconvenience to OCTOBER SPRING. HAZY GAZE checked across the heels of CULPER SPY and OCTOBER SPRING. HAZY GAZE checked across the heels of CULPER SPY on the turn into the front straight. HAZY GAZE raced wide into and down the home straight.
Race 3 – Maiden
431m
The start of this race was delayed 1.15 due to interstate harness running late.
NAT MAN and PLUM JAM bumped as the start was effected, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. OUR ELITE shifted out on the turn into the back straight bumping IMA COUNTRY BOY causing this greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground. BARCELLA checked off the heels of RYLI’S RAMBO on the turn into the back straight. General tightening occurred entering the back straight resulting in KAPALUA and IMA COUNTRY BOY being checked and losing ground. NAT MAN checked off the heels of BARCELLA on the turn out of the back straight. IMA COUNTRY BOY checked across the heels of NAT MAN in the front straight, resulting in KAPALUA suffering some inconvenience.
Race 4 – Novice

The start of this race was delayed 1.30 due to an interstate thoroughbred race.
MORGAN and YUKON MAN were slow to begin. YUKON MAN and AUSSIE OZZIE bumped on the turn into the back straight. MORGAN checked off the heels of FREDRIK and shifted out on the turn into the back straight bumping PURNIM across the heels of GRANDULLON, resulting in PURNIM racing wide into the straight. MORGAN and GRANDULLON raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound FASHION ADVICE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – Novice
431m
MISS ESPOSITO was slow to begin. MISS ESPOSITO and PROTO PENNY bumped on several occasions entering the turn into the back straight. PLEASE REFRAIN checked off the heels of RYLI’S RANGA on the turn into the back straight, resulting in interference to MAGGIE MERLOT. PROTO PENNY checked off the heels of PLEASE REFRAIN in the back straight. PROTO PENNY raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound PLEASE REFRAIN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Heat 1 431m
BUSTED FLAT and CHLOE BENZ were slow to begin. KITTY’S DREAM checked off the heels of ZAFONIC SHE IS on the turn shortly after the start. YALINGA shifted in on the turn into the back straight bumping LITTLE SIZZLER in onto WHIRLY WAY onto ZAFONIC SHE IS. WHIRLY WAY checked off the heels of YALINGA entering the back straight causing interference to KITTY’S DREAM, who in turn dropped back causing interference to LITTLE SIZZLER. DORRIE MAC checked off the heels of YALINGA turning out of the back straight causing interference to ZAFONIC SHE IS. YALINGA raced onto the hindquarters of WHIRLY WAY on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in this greyhound losing ground and checking DORRIE MAC. DORRIE MAC raced wide in the home straight.

7 – 5th Grade 520m
KLONDIKE RUSH raced wide in the front straight on the 1st occasion. WITH A GEE and KLONDIKE RUSH were both marginally slow to begin. WITH A GEE raced onto the heels of DARK BLAST shortly after the start causing DARK BLAST to shift out causing interference to DAINTY LASS. SO SWANKY and DEREK ZOOLANDER bumped entering the back straight resulting in SO SWANKY losing ground. KLONDIKE RUSH raced wide into and down the home straight.
The
greyhound YADA YADA YADA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

8 – 4/5th Grade Final 431m
ANOA’I was marginally slow to begin. MISS HALLIUS was tightened for racing room between BAY OF SPRITE and LOAD ME UP on the turn into the back straight. SLICK HEIDI checked across the heels of CYNDIE’S SPECIAL entering the back straight causing SLICK HEIDI to race wide. ANOA’I shifted out across the heels of LOAD ME UP entering the back straight, resulting in SLICK HEIDI being forced wide and checking off the heels of ANOA’I, causing SLICK HEIDI to contact the fence matting beside the 710m starting boxes. SLICK HEIDI took no further competitive part in the event. ANOA’I shifted in towards the end of the back straight tightening LOAD ME UP who lost ground causing interference to BAY OF SPRITE. LOAD ME UP was severely checked off the heels of ANOA’I on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to MISS HALLIUS.
The
greyhound SLICK HEIDI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

9 – 5th Grade Heat 2 431m
ROCKY BENZ was slow to begin. SCOTTISH CLAN jumped inwards as the start was effected tightening ELITE DESSA onto GATE SLINGER onto LADY INGA. SCOTTISH CLAN shifted out on the turn into the back straight bumping ROCKY BENZ. HABANA FLEX checked off the heels of LADY INGA on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. ROCKY BENZ checked off the heels of ALEEAH JET on the turn out of the back straight. ALEEAH JET and ROCKY BENZ bumped on several occasions on the turn into the home straight.

10 – 5th Grade Heat 3 431m
KING’S GEM shifted in shortly after the start tightening KING’S SON onto PREMIER PLAYER onto GREYSYND FANTASY. KING’S SON was tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight between KING’S GEM and LOVE LETTERS, resulting in LOVE LETTERS and KING’S SON becoming unbalanced. GREYSYND FANTASY checked across the heels of KING’S SON resulting in interference to PREMIER PLAYER. KING’S SON checked off the heels of LOVE LETTERS entering the back straight. GREYSYND FANTASY checked off the heels of KING’S SON on the turn out of the back straight. MY DIEGO checked across the heels of KING’S GEM on the turn into the home straight. PREMIER PLAYER checked off the heels of KING’S SON at the top of the home straight. GREYSYND FANTASY raced wide into the home straight.
